To truly be trauma informed in schools or any organization, the principles of TIC need to be embedded into the culture. And when we say culture, what it really boils down to is shared behavior. It’s all about behavior. But if you look through the literature, or if you look under the hood of too many self-proclaimed TIC organizations, these principles are not mined down to the behavior of the people at each level in the organization.
