Short little solo episode about building a good community of men and establishing markers for success early on in your goals.
Clint Walker Joins us again, this time on the One Flesh series. He gives us all the dos, don'ts, and jokes associated with mitigating chaos in an effort to create and maintain a happy marriage.
Short little episode about doing whatever it takes to Get. It. Done.
Hard Conversations. Have them. Discuss married people topics with your girlfriend. Talk about the real things. Religion, Money, Health and Fitness, etc... Make sure you and your girlfriend know where each other are at and know what they believe. Have a plan for the finances. Talk about what you want to do when you have kids.
When it's time to make tough decisions approach those decisions as if you are married... You will be soon enough! That $40k 72mo car note for a busted ass Camaro will be your problem eventually, make sure that you and her approach decisions like that together as if you are married. Because you will be. When you are married, that independent decision either you or she made a year ago will put tension in your marriage... not good!
In this short episode, I give my thoughts on raising the bar and how to keep the standard you set for yourself.
I sit down and give my thoughts on finding a community that supports your wife. As a man, it is your responsibility to make sure that you not only have men that support you but that your wife is able to have that support system as well. Get out of your comfort zone and find a community that has women who will support your wife. Your marriage and wife will thank you.
Obviously, every relationship is different, and you may not be the social butterfly of the two, but it is still your responsibility to make sure that your wife is surrounded by the right women and the kind of women that understand her. Don't leave her on an island with you being the only lifeboat.
We have a YUGE announcement! Your Wednesday episodes will no longer be the Book Club, we are starting a new series called One Flesh. I am incredibly excited to start One Flesh and I am really looking forward to the impact I think it is going to have.
What is One Flesh you ask? Listen to the episode and find out!

After a pretty rough two weeks, the phrase "when it rains it pours" came to mind. After reaching out to my friend Jonah he reminded me of "Progressive Overload", the process of putting more weight on the bar than you are comfortable lifting, and then lifting it anyway... No this doesn't just apply in a gym setting. God will throw more weight on the bar, and I discuss how to handle that.
Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!
As I conclude the last section of Blood Meridian I discuss the dance between man and evil. I cover the final scenes of the Glanton Gang and the final scenes of The Kid at the hand of the Judge. I ask you and myself a lot of questions, which is exactly where I think the value is to be found in books like this one. I hope that you enjoy it!
