    • Tim’s first memory of loving the game – watching 1966 Grand Final in his great auntie’s living room
    • Gaz used to follow his dad everywhere, as he was coach of the local footy team
    • Gaz told a story how his dad introduced him to John Kennedy
    • Gaz used to be the mascot for his old man’s team – used to go to the coin toss with him each week – at Mortlake, Portland and Kyabram
    • Tim re: listening to the footy on the radio as a kid

      • Tim explained how he was drafted – got the letter from the Bombers at 15 years of age, slept with it and read it everyday

        • On his debut – on Easter weekend. Everything shut on Good Friday and he was in agony with a sore back, couldn’t get it sorted from club doctors
