Making longterm, successful change with your alcohol habits requires two things in my humble, personal, professional, and experienced opinion.
And those are:
1) A close and honest look at your thoughts and your internal dialogue.
2) A Spiritual practice and curiosity that brings you closer to connecting with your Soul Self.
When you think about it, these things are fun! Delving into Mindset Shifting and Spiritual Practices can actually give you a thrill (the way that you hope that drinking will) And you become more MINDFUL and AWARE the longer you stay consistent with these practices, which in turn, exposes drinking for being something different than you had previously thought.
Drinking is a Thinking Problem as is said. But it's also a lack of connection and wholeness with yourself. Fortunately, both of these things can be remedied.
