I did a lot of construction and I've done thousands of feet of piping and I burned a lot of pipe during those days.

It's been 15 years but the thing that I remember is that I've looked at the piping schedule, I grabbed the pipe that I needed, and then I went and started burning it in and doing this constantly adding insulation and stuff. 

Today, there are a lot of technicians in construction, who just do all the piping, with some expert pipers in there.

If you are new in the industry or been doing refrigeraiton for over 20 years you need to take the time to plan where you want to be in your career and life.  It does not matter how old you are because if you want to become a service manager for the company you are working for you can. Or you want to become a business owner you can.  What you need to do is start taking action towards that today.  The first step is to write down your plan on how you are going to get there with clear goals and timelines.  Take action each day and dont give up when the going gets hard.  Do not expect it to happen overnight it could take 6 months or 6 years but if you set the course, keep consistant and take small simple steps in the direction of that plan you will accomplish it.

It's really important to know where to find the information you're looking for. 

Because sometimes it can be really hard. 

Like when you go to the manufacturer websites and there's so much stuff that doesn't matter which they have so many products and so much information and brochures and technical document

Sometimes it's hard to weave your way through that. 

So I highly suggest that you become a good researcher to find the right information, the right documents, and cross-reference data.
