S2E104: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Hey, Happy Friday, Everyone. I hope yours is going well. Mine has been a little tricky today for several reasons. Sometimes, things seem to hit all at once.
Nothing catastrophic, but it had me feeling down.
But I’m always working hard to right the ship. I realize at this stage of life not to focus on what I can’t control. I tend to accept that some things are just going to suck shit. Then I strategize about how to get through it.
I stay positive. My Bride taught me some good ways to do that. In today’s episode, I’ll share that with you. I hope everyone is doing well and having a fun weekend so far. Thank you for lending me your ears on this, as always. I appreciate it!

Good afternoon, Y’all!
I’m back with another podcast episode. I had a fun day yesterday, taking the afternoon off to do a little wildlife photography. It was much needed for my mental health. It’s important to do things that are good for our souls, sometimes.
Such as taking a wildlife photography road trip. It would be my first road trip alone.
I’m kind of surprised that I’ve never done that in the 50 years I’ve been on this planet. I did travel once to visit a buddy who was graduating from college, but I was dropped off at the airport by my wife at the time, and he was there to pick me up in Reno. Getting in a car and driving alone, figuring out where to stay, and deciding where to photograph wildlife would be something new for me.
I’m sure it would be a positive experience. I’d likely have fun, even if Mai isn’t there to tag along with me. I know that I should do it. But getting out of our comfort zone at times isn’t easy. Give this one a listen, and I’ll tell you all about it. I appreciate you lending me your ears, as always. &:^)

Hey Everyone, hope you’re having a hell of a good day. I just wanted to speak up and be mouthy about the fight against Traitor Trump and his shitty brand of fascism against the people he swore to protect. He’s doing an abysmal job of this. But I don’t need to tell you that.
We all see it daily. Be it from the news, videos, or articles, one thing is certain: His reign of lawless stupidity and cruelty has to end.
We will stand and fight against his fascist, wannabe dictator shit. I see progress being made, though it’s painfully slow. But I do see the signs of his evil empire starting to weaken. And when it finally topples, it will be glorious.
Please give today’s podcast episode and listen and let me know if you agree with what I’m saying. I think you hear me knocking, I think I’m coming in. And I’m bringing freedom and democracy with me.
Let’s fucking GO. Thank you for lending me your ears, as always. I appreciate your free and paid subscriptions that are coming in. Together, we can do this!

What’s up, Y’all? Happy Tuesday to you! I hope things are going well, that you’re enjoying your job, career, or a day off. I was thinking about this today as I drove home from the gym.
I love taking a mid-day break to go work out or take a nature hike to do some photography. Having the freedom to do that is amazing.
At age 50, I love that my personal freedom outweighs my desire to make some big income. I do pretty well compared to most writers, but I don’t earn the most money I’ve ever made, back when I was selling real estate. But I’m much happier these days, and that says a lot, in our capitalistic society.
I’ll always bust my ass to improve and earn more as a writer. I’ll do anything I can to succeed because I love what I do for a living, writing these articles and recording my podcast. I’m happy that it doesn’t consume my every moment, though. Just creating content to make you all happy and keep you entertained is a huge reward in itself.
I appreciate you being all about it. Thank you for lending me your ears. I am glad to do a podcast or write an article not entirely about politics, sometimes. It means a lot that you still take an interest. &:^)

Hey Everybody!
It’s been a kickass day today. A lot of that has to do with being able to get back to the gym for the first time since February. I hadn’t realized it had been that long until I found myself there today for the first time. A lot has happened in the past 60 days.
COVID, my lower back going out, and then the sore foot. Christ, no wonder I was happy to be back at the Y. To have a good, healthy future, I need to make this a regular thing.
In today’s episode, I talk about why the gym means a lot to me. And how it helps me deal with Donald Trump’s crazy bullshit that wears on my mental health. It’s not easy focusing on that orange asswipe daily with my writing and podcasts. So please give this one a listen and allow me to explain how it all relates.
I appreciate you lending me your ears, as always. &:^)

Hey Y’all, Happy Easter Sunday/420! Glad to be back with you for today’s audio podcast. We missed a day because of the Substack Live I did from the protest here in Idaho. It was badass.
Even more so because I got to march with my two daughters.
I'll tell you all about it, give this one a listen. Thank you for lending me your ears, you’re the coolest. I always appreciate the support from our Mouthy Militia!

Hey Everyone!
What an amazing event! My daughters and I attended the Idaho chapter of the 50501 protest today. We had at least a few thousand people show up!
I’m sorry that the video quality is low. I’m assuming it’s due to so many others being gathered in one location. But that’s ok, you can hear it just fine. I recorded a few different speakers, I hope you’ll give it a listen.]
I’ll have a hell of a cool article for you tomorrow on Sunday. I took some badass photos of the event and shots of so many awesome protestors with their signs. So look for that tomorrow. I’m gonna zip through the photos the rest of the evening and rest up so I can write a Mouthy article covering the event.
Take care, and Happy Saturday to you all.

Happy Friday, Everyone! And happiest of Happy Birthdays to my sister-in-law, Julia! I was thinking about her today as I was plotting my new article about the war on women.
And believe me, we’re in the middle of one. It’s bullshit, what women go through here in our country and so many others.
Julia is a badass. She is NOT afraid to tell it like it is. I get so many of my best political memes from her Facebook page. She’s so anti-Trump, I feel like an amateur next to her at times. She is an educated, empowered single lady who makes no apologies for who she is and what she believes in.
We adore her, here in our family. Mooch loves living with her Auntie Julia, and we’re glad to have her with us. Tonight, we make an Eggplant Parmesan dinner for her, as requested, and tip our glasses to a wonderful, strong lady. I hope you enjoy this episode, and please feel free to wish her a Happy Birthday in the comments.
I appreciate you lending me your ears, as always. Happy Weekend to you all!

Well, that was a hell of a lot of fun! It was awesome getting a chat with my brotha Jade Jesser about several topics, the least of which, Tronald Dump, and so many other better topics.
Thank you all so much for joining us live. If you missed part or all of it, here you go! Round 2 is just about the same, without the live comments. We are both so appreciative of the 300+ of you who showed up to hang out with us.
Please hit the subscribe button for Jade if you haven’t yet. He’s a wonderful fella and a close friend. Perhaps I’m selfish, but I’m always wanting my Substack friends to enjoy my good friends, too. We value and appreciate you all, thank you for taking an interest in our stuff! &:^)

Ok, I better not lose my voice after this episode. I still have a Substack Live to do with in two hours. &:^)
Christ, that was fiery. I don’t realize how much anger and hatred I have for Donald Trump until I finish recording. I get worked up far more when recording my podcast than when I’m writing an article. I’m aware of the rise of my voice and the intensity that comes with it.
I need to chill the fuck out, sometimes. But these crimes against our nation fire me up. I’m angry, fed up, and ready to fight. I hope you all feel the same way. Thank you for lending me your ears on this one. This shit needs to be said, and I’m always going to take that seriously.
Let’s fight and take our country back. Get him the fuck out of the White House.
