S2E86: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Happy Sunday afternoon, Everyone.
Man, did I run across a tear-jerker of a social media post last night. It certainly hit me hard, and I knew that I had to write about it or talk about it on the podcast. I opted for that second option.
I can’t imagine Libby the Mooch not getting to say goodbye to me, should I pass before her.
I doubt this will happen. I’m 50 years old and in good health. Mooch is almost 13, and though she’s doing well, dogs just don’t usually outlive their humans. It breaks my heart knowing that I’ll probably be the one to comfort her as she crosses over the Rainbow Bridge.
Here’s the post I made about it, after seeing it on Facebook. Grab a tissue, it’s heart-wrenching, if you’re a pet owner or animal lover.
In today’s podcast episode, I talk about this and why it’s so important for our pets to be able to say goodbye. Please give it a listen. I appreciate you lending me your ears, as always.

Hey Y’all…
Man, it’s been a week. I’ve been weak. I’m falling into some bad habits. I thought I had this thing handled.
But it’s been trending in the wrong direction, as of late.
Today, I’m going to share with the group. I have some things to get off my chest and today is as good of time as any to divulge a little information. I feel that I can get this thing handled again.
It’s going to take strength. Determination. A willingness to change. I’m up for it. I know I’ll be better for it. With your help and advice, I’m certain I can do it.
So, thank you for lending me your ears. I’d love to know if any of you have had similar experiences with this type of thing. Your comments are welcome, and I appreciate you lending me your ears, as always!

Happy Friday, Y’all!
Glad to be back with another episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings. I was thinking about the whole “Conservative vs. Liberal” thing earlier today. I just don’t understand how people who support Donald Trump and all of his shady administration players think that liberal people are so bad.
Unless it’s that whole hypocritical, gaslighting thing that most MAGA folks tend to do.
Anyway, please give this one a listen and let me know your thoughts about it. I have to think that most of our listeners tend to lean left, but I’d love to know if anyone has a different take on it, or a friend or relative who truly believes that blue-voting people are evil for whatever reason. Share with us why they think this way.
I appreciate you lending me your ears, it’s always a joy and privilege to read your comments! &:^)

Le Sigh…
Where the hell do I even begin, today? It’s been the longest 2 1/2 months of my life. Maybe you feel the same. I get so goddamn sick and tired of hearing about Donald Trump. His latest stupid statements. His ignorant views about fucking EVERYTHING.
I just want this shit show to be over. I didn’t vote for this.
In today’s podcast episode, I talk about how wilfully ignorant, unintelligent, and reckless Donald Trump is. He doesn’t give a damn about you, your family, or this country. He shows us this daily through his words and his actions. He is not a smart man.
It’s painfully obvious how unqualified he is to run the United States of America. He has to go. Please give this one a listen and tell me if you feel the same way. We have to unite against this travesty of justice and get a real president. He isn’t it.
Thank you for lending me your ears. I appreciate it greatly.

Good afternoon, Y’all. I was thinking about parenting today. Specifically about the roles of fathers within families. I saw a couple of things recently that made me think of this topic.
I had one of those tough fathers. Sometimes, bordering on abusive. Perhaps you did, too.
In today’s episode, I talk about how many men mistreat their children and how it affects those relationships later in life. Give this one a listen and let me know what you think. I’m curious about your own experiences in this area.
As always, thank you for lending me your ears. I never take for granted how many people are downloading our podcast episodes daily. You’re all valued and appreciated. &:^)

Holy shit, did I go off on today’s episode. I don’t even feel like writing a nice, well-written intro today.
Just fucking listen to it. Pretty please, with sugar on top. &:^)
I appreciate you all lending me your ears, even when I’m ranty and ravey. It felt good to get this off my chest. I hope you enjoy it and agree with where I’m coming from, here. Thank you!

Happy Monday, Everyone! It’s the last day of March. Man, time flies when you’re having fun. And doing the same shit every single day.
As a writer who is focused on building something big, I understand this all too well.
In today’s episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings, I find myself talking about the one thing that I attribute my success to so far. CONSISTENCY. Doing the same repetitive things daily for over three years has helped me to grow a larger following.
I love what I do for a living. I wouldn’t have it any other way. But I also realize how repetitive things get for me. And why that could change in the near or distant future. Check this one out if you have time. I always appreciate you lending me your ears. Thank you for your continued support!

Hey, Happy Sunday to you all! I’m in a funny mood at the moment. I got a little fired up in my afternoon article, and then again when I recorded this podcast.
Hence the use of a word many people don’t approve of. So be it. I’m gonna do what I do.
Words are simply that. Just words. When you give them power to offend you, then the person saying them wins. They’ve negatively affected you and that shit lands on you. I use certain words in a humorous way, as I did in this episode.
I thought it in my mind today while walking Libby the Mooch. I explain in today’s episode how I thought of this word and have recently laughed about it while watching one of my favorite TV series. I probably should be allowed to be around MAGA people unsupervised. But fuck it, it is what it is.
Thank you for lending me your ears once again. If I offended those ears of yours, I can assure you that there is no malice behind it. I have the right to say the things I say, just as you have the right to not listen to them. But it would be cooler if you did. &:^)

Y’all, it was a frustrating day today. Even more than the usual bullshit of the Trump administration. Some days, writing and podcasting about all of his administration’s latest fuckery brings me town. But today, it wasn’t politics that had me frustrated.
It was because of Apple.
Not an apple, but rather, the tech company. And how difficult they make it to sign up for an account. It was the second time in two weeks I’d tried to sign up for one, only for it to error out at the end. Grrrr.
But it made me think about aging, especially after taking Mooch on her walk today. She’s almost 13. I’m seeing signs of her slowing a bit, and it makes me sad. That, plus my technical difficulties gave me the idea for today’s podcast episode.
I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for lending me your ears today. I always appreciate your support!
