S2E77: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Holy Christ, what a day it’s been. Between my earlier article today and this podcast, I’m really feeling poorly. My mental health is hanging by a thread. I’m so fucking angry and disgusted by everything I read in the news lately.
And it’s shit for the economy. We are in decline like you wouldn’t believe.
To Trump and the MAGA folks to say that we’re making America great again, FUCK YOU. That is absolutely not the case, it’s the opposite of your racist, bigoted, lawless, and untruthful agenda. Project 2025 is in full swing, and this country is a dumpster fire right now. We are the joke of the world, though it’s not at all funny.
In today’s episode, I talk about why Trump’s bullshit, wannabe dictator ship is both dangerous and bad for business. We must stand up against the Billionaire Boys Club and fight them with everything we have. We cannot allow people to disappear off the street simply for speaking against the criminal enterprise of Traitor Trump and Elon Musk.
We must keep fighting, protesting, boycotting, and being Mouthy. I appreciate everyone who listens to this podcast daily and agrees with the course of action we have to take, as patriotic Americans.
Thank you for lending me your ears today. I hope you all enjoy this episode and use it to motivate you to keep fighting. Enjoy your weekend. Self-care is so important, too, right now. I appreciate your encouragement and support.

*Trigger Warning: I may have said “fuck” more in the episode than any other one I’ve recorded the past 6 months. &:^)
And that’s ok. I handle my business the way I see fit. I’m always going to say the things I want to say, regardless of what anyone else thinks about it. This is my page, not yours. While 99% of my fans are super supportive and wonderful, once in a while I catch some bullshit even from my side of the political aisle.
That’s more than fine. They can choose to be offended by this rant today, or they can see the logic and appreciate my point of view about it.
It’s not easy publishing two articles daily and recording a podcast episode every day. I enjoy it, but there’s quite a bit of pressure to come up with something of value to say. I feel I do a great job of it, and I stick to what I know, most of the time.
But I get tired of always reporting on politics. I need a break from it sometimes. And I need people to understand that. In today’s podcast, I explain in detail why I handle my Substack the way I do. While I don’t have to justify my actions to anyone, I don’t mind telling it like it is and explaining it.
I feel a lot better after getting this off my chest. Give it a listen, I hope you can appreciate where I’m coming from. I value and appreciate all of my Mouthy Militia members. Thank you for lending me your ears, as always.

Hey Y’all!
Today has been a pretty exciting day. Though I’m a little behind schedule with my writing and podcasting, it’s been worth it. We had an exciting new development happen today.
Our new Sleep Number Bed was delivered. Holy Hell, this thing seems nice.
You know when the delivery man asks for your WiFi password to get your new bed connected to it, you’re in for a treat. In today’s podcast episode, I talk about the whole experience, start to finish. Even Mooch approves of this new chapter in our sleep history.
Here’s hoping that my lower back approves, too. Once I dial in my sleep number, I have no doubt it will help progress the healing of my lower back. Ok, gotta go get in my PJs and attempt to get 15 hours of sleep, HAHA! Thank you for lending me your ears today, it’s always appreciated! &:^)

Did any of you have a difficult time fitting in during junior high or high school? I always had a few friends, but some social groups weren’t the easiest to gain access to. I feel that a lot of people find this to be true, even after high school.
In today’s podcast episode, I talk about the MAGA movement. Specifically, how many of their members join and stubbornly hang in there because they feel part of something. They have friends when they support Trump and his fucked up ideals for America.
Give this one a listen and let me know what you think in the comments. I’m curious if some or most of you see things the way I do about people and the groups they find themselves a part of. I appreciate you lending me your ears, as always!

Hey Everybody! I’m back with another episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings! It’s good to be here with you and to share another podcast episode. It’s been a wonderful day, once again.
I was happy to do a video chat with one of my close friends, Jered Calabro. He’s new around these parts and a wonderful writer and friend. He wanted to pick my brain this morning about Substack. I love it when I can help a good friend with some advice and share my experiences about our platform.
Please give him a free subscription if you wouldn’t mind. His writing about parenting is awesome, and having support early on during his first weeks on Substack would be huge. I’d consider it a personal favor if you supported him this way.
I’ve had a lot of experience in giving and receiving advice. I’ve learned some things over the years regarding who you should take advice from. Generally, you want to seek that out from people who are doing better than you are.
Sadly, too many folks seem to enjoy offering advice to people who didn’t ask for it. I can’t tell you how many people have told me that I was doing things the wrong way. Or they inform me of what they’d do if they were me. In today’s episode, I talk about who you should seek advice from and who to avoid in that department.
I think you’ll enjoy this one, whether you’re a writer or not. It applies to many areas of life. Thank you for lending me your ears, I hope you find value in this episode! &:^)

S2E72: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Happy Sunday afternoon, Everyone! The Mouthy Renegade Writer is in a great mood today. You’re probably like, “What? Why?” Ok, I get it. I can be pretty cynical and moody at times.
But today was a good day, so far. I’m happy about that.
Before Trump took office and invited Elon Muskrat to the White House to loot it blind, I was a happier person. Writing so many political articles every single day brings me down at times. But that’s not in my nature. I used to be a happy-go-lucky fella.
I’m working hard to not let the type of writing I do affect me. Part of that comes from doing the things I still enjoy doing. Such as photo shoots with my daughter. She designed our Mouthy logo. And agreed to model for us, wearing the shirt I ordered for her. We had fun at the park and I’m so proud of her for all she does.
Today has been awesome. I’ll tell you about it in this episode of our podcast. Thank you for lending me your ears, it’s always so appreciated. I hope you’re also having a wonderful Sunday!
If you enjoyed this episode, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. Your generosity is so very appreciated. Join our Mouthy Militia today, and thank you for your support! &:^)

Admit it, you just sang the title of this podcast episode, didn’t you? Thank you, Barenaked Ladies.
After writing my afternoon article this morning from the perspective of Donald Trump, I had my mind on my money and my money on my mind. Well, what little of it I have. I started thinking about what it would be like to win the lottery. Like a BIG jackpot.
I started thinking about the good I could do with it. In today’s episode, I talk about how most billionaires aren’t exceptional people. Some are truly horrible, like Elon Musk and Donald Douche. But then a few of them do amazing things with their wealth.
I’d like to be one of those people. This is how I imagine it would go if Mai and I won a huge lottery jackpot, or if my writing took off to a whole other level. Either way, we’d sure make the most of our opportunity to help others and touch lives. Give it a listen and let me know your thoughts in the comments.
I value and appreciate you all. Thank you for lending me your ears, as always! &:^)

S2E70: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Back in Black, Indeed. It feels black and blue at the moment.
I’m sort of feeling like a black cloud is hanging over me. At least over my lower back. It’s been a more painful day than it’s been lately. I’m trying not to let it get me down.
But it’s tough, having chronic pain. And I know other people have it much worse than I do.
Mine tends to be temporary. I’m no stranger to my back going out. It’s happened at least 10 or 12 times over the years. In today’s podcast episode, I talk about working through the pain. And attempting to do new things to deal with it.
You can’t keep a good man down. Not this Mouthy Renegade Writer, at least. Give this one a listen, and leave some comments of encouragement, if you have a minute. A free or paid subscription would help my mood if you’re able to do either.
I value and appreciate you all. Thank you for lending me your ears once again. Y’all are the best. &:^)

Hey Everyone!
We had a hell of a cool Substack Live. It was the first time Robin Wilding and had a guest! Thank you to my hometown buddy Jade Jesser for joining us tonight.
We had a great time chatting about humor, politics, and travel. I’m planning a family trip this summer to Canada, so it was nice getting Robin’s perspective on what to expect. We chatted about politics, the bullshit our two countries are going through, and even TV shows we enjoy to help us forget about the political nonsense for a minute.
Even Libby the Mooch made a couple of appearances. She’s so damn cute. I appreciate everyone who showed up live, and if you missed it, please enjoy this version! It was awesome to do another episode for you.
Please subscribe to Robin and Jade’s Substack if you enjoyed this. They write amazing articles and I’d appreciate you supporting them! You’ll enjoy their stuff, I know I do. &:^)

Well good afternoon, Y’all! How’s my Mouthy Militia doing today? I hope you’re enjoying yourselves and fighting the good fight against Trump, Musk, and fascist MAGA people everywhere.
But I hope you’re doing it in a safe, smart way.
I thought about this today as I was walking Libby the Mooch. Three small, separate things occurred during that 15-minute walk that inspired me. I knew I had to go into it on the podcast we were set to record. Well, after lunch, anyway. A well-fed Mooch is a happy Mooch.
So here’s what we came up with. I hope you enjoy this episode, it was awesome to chat about these three things and I feel better than I did before I recorded it. I hope you find value in it and as always, I appreciate you lending me your ears. Enjoy!
