S2E68: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Hey Everyone.
I hope you’re having a kickass day today. I’m thoughtful about the future of my writing and podcasting, right now. I started thinking about this when I read an article earlier that mentioned people being deported by the Trump administration without due process.
He’s basically sticking his orange, tiny, middle finger up at the American judicial system.
I don’t like the way things are headed. I keep seeing more and more pushback by a wannabe dictator attempting to intimidate and flex his power. He’s testing the boundaries of the government and the U.S. Constitution. It makes me wonder what’s next.
Will they attempt to silence the media or writers who are critical of their lawless, evil agenda? Could Mouthy Renegade Writers end up imprisoned or deported? And would I keep writing in an openly critical way of these asswipes? Or if I changed my style and stopped writing and podcasting about Trump, would you continue to be here for it?
I tend to think that most wouldn’t. And I don’t want to stop being Mouthy. In this episode, I talk about what it might look like moving forward, me having to leave the United States to continue being as Mouthy as I want to be. And what that might do to my family.
Check this one out, and give me some open, honest feedback in the comments. This one is important. I’d love to know your thoughts on this. Thank you for lending me your ears, as always.

Monday, Monday…
Sometimes Mondays don’t always bring the best news. For many, it’s the start of the work week. It can lead to having lots on one’s plate to deal with.
Or it can be the opposite of that.
I like keeping busy. I prefer being able to help my family around the house and being the fella who gets to make dinner most nights. Sadly, that hasn’t happened these past five days. I’m trying to be careful with my lower back pain and not overdoing things.
But easier said than done. In today’s podcast, I talk about how it’s difficult for me to just sit and rest. Or stay flat when I’m on ice packs. But I do have a couple of positive updates.
Give this one a listen and thank you for lending me your ears. I love being able to get things off my chest and vent a bit. Thank you for that, my friends. &:^)

Happy Sunday afternoon to you all. I’m in a pretty damn good mood today, despite having pretty bad lower back pain. It hasn’t improved since yesterday.
And that shit was painful. Being marginally worse, no bueno.
On top of this, we’re about to experience a loss in our family. Someone who has been a member of the family for about 33 years. They’ve been there for better or for worse, and through sickness and in health. But they’re about to leave us in 10 days.
Yes, ten days. We accept this. I’ll tell you all about how we know this. As always, thank you for lending me your ears. I’m happier today because we’ll soon be saying goodbye to this family member. &:^)

Hey Everyone.
I’m having a hell of a time right now. No sooner had my Bride and I decided we’d visit Canada together for the first time this summer, my lower back started hurting like hell. It’s been a rough couple of days. I talk about this in today’s podcast episode.
But I’m not giving up on my goal of traveling in 2025. Fuck that.
I’m fortunate to have had this happen several times during my adult life. Fortunate, in that I know how to deal with it. And that I have always recovered from chronic back pain before. Though it isn’t getting any easier as I age, I know the things I have to do for it to feel better.
And I’ll do them. Traveling to do my writing, photography, and podcasting is a must. I’m deadset on making that dream happen. So I’ll call Dr. Mark and start seeing him for the first time since 2023. And Mai and I will drive to Canada this summer. You can’t keep a good man down.
Thank you for lending me your ears today. I appreciate you all so much. &:^)

Happy Friday to you all, my Mouthy Militia! I’m glad it’s the weekend and I have some thoughts this afternoon. For once, they’re not related to politics.
Well, not as much as usual, anyway. I did mention Donald Trump in this one, briefly.
But there’s a point to it, and you’ll see why. As I mention in this article, I’m not talking shit about prayer and manifestation for everyone. This is just how I feel about the topic for ME, based on my experiences and 50 years of walking this Earth. I don’t buy into it.
Give this one a listen and you’ll get my point. And if you think I’m a dick for blasting on something you hold near and dear to your heart, so be it. I’m always going to say what I’m feeling and I can assure you, I’m not trying to shit on your beliefs.
I just have my own thoughts about a lot of things, and how they relate to my life. Thank you for lending me your ears. You are all valued and appreciated so very much!

S2E62: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
I’ll admit it, I’m struggling with my writing, Y’all.
Though I still love doing it daily, it’s becoming more and more difficult. Especially when Donald Trump and his criminal, traitorous administration seem to lay something new on us every day. It can be exhausting.
And not good for one’s mental health. I need a change.
I don’t want to quit writing about politics. I know that so many of my readers and listeners have gotten used to reading fiery, angry articles from me. My podcasts resonate with my followers, from the perspective of someone like you, who is fed the fuck up with all of this nonsense. So I’ll continue to power through these feelings and fight on.
But I’d sure like to do it from another location. Getting the perspective from other people outside of the United States about Trump, Musk, and all of this nonsense would be amazing. A fresh outlook from another location would make this even more interesting. In today’s episode, I talk about some ways for me to bring about change, travel, and other strategies to keep my writing interesting.
I’m gonna do this. I’m not a quitter. And I’m not satisfied doing something I don’t feel like doing. Change is coming, and I’m up for the challenge. Thank you for your continued support, you’re all so valued and appreciated. &:^)

S2E61: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Good afternoon to my wonderful listeners, it’s a beautiful sunny day here in Idaho, and I had plans to take advantage of it. But then I almost talked myself out of it. I was in a mood, as tends to happen after I write an angry, fiery article about the latest fuckery that Trump has committed.
And it’s daily. At least it feels that way. I get so damn sick of it.
I just about bailed out on my plans of going out to do a little wildlife photography. I was in a poor mood, I told myself that my lower back was too sore to go, and I damn near bitched out. But then I checked myself.
To hell with minor lower back pain. To hell with feeling that I’m too busy writing about politics to get out in nature. And to hell with Donald Trump and all the space he occupies in our heads, constantly.
I’m glad I ended up going. I took some cool photos. And not staring at screens for 90 minutes and being angry at the MAGA movement helped my mental health. I hope you guys take a break from this political bullshit once in a while and do the things you enjoy.
I’m going to do more of that. I need it. Thank you for lending me your ears today. You are valued and appreciated, always!

S2E60: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
Good afternoon, everyone. It’s been a hell of a day. I’m weary. I’m mentally struggling. It’s always a battle lately against these fascist dipshits in the White House.
But I’m not going to let those fuckers win.
In my earlier article, I wrote about how we’re not doing enough as a nation to stand up to Donald Trump, and Elon Musk’s evil ways. As Project 2025 chugs along, ruining more lives every step of the way, we’re not seeing enough action taken. Words are one thing, but actions must follow.
In today’s podcast episode, I talk about the things that are necessary for us to make a difference and defeat this fascist, wannabe dictator’s plans. Good American people are suffering, and it’s only going to get worse. Unless we become Mouthy and fight back.
This administration needs to be punched in the dick. And we need to get in line, make a fist, and deliver that to them. I’m fed the fuck up with this shit and I’m not playing nice. Who’s with me? Join our Mouthy Militia and let’s show them what strength in numbers looks like.
Before it’s too late and we have no democracy and freedom left to save. Who’s coming with me?

I am so sick of this fat, bloated, orange dick-with-ears. I’m tired of the lies. I’m tired of the greed. I’m tired of the slothfulness. And I’m tired of his idiot cult members still worshipping the ground that this Baby-Huey-looking motherfucker waddles on.
He’s not fixing a goddamn thing. He’s playing golf again this weekend, while you overpay for groceries you can’t afford. While people are being laid off from their jobs. While the Vampire-in-Chief flits around the White House, stealing more money for himself and the Count of Mostly-Crisco.
Billionaires are NOT on your side. I don’t know how to make that any clearer.
Thank you for listening to me vent about this today. I’m so stuck in a place where I don’t want to keep writing about Trump, Musk, and the rest of the MAGA morons. But I must. It would be wrong to not all out all of those bullshit and speak my mind. It’s not in my nature NOT to fight back against social injustice.
It takes its toll though on my mental health. If you can help improve my mood by becoming a free or a paid subscriber, it would sure be appreciated. I’d love to see some good news in a world that seems to get darker by the day.
All while Cadet Bonespurs totters around the golf course in his fucking diaper.
Thank you for lending me your ears on this one. You’re all appreciated and valued so much. My Mouthy Militia is the BEST. I’ll always work hard to inform you and entertain you. Thank you for standing up against fascism with me. &:^)
