Welcome to The Ride of My Life – Poem Talks - Waiting and Watching!  

After a year of deep diving into healing work and finding out about who I am and who I’ve been in my life, I share the poems I have written over this time that document the journey inside of me. Who am I really? I am Love and this is my Journey.   

In this poem talk video, I go in to how I see myself in this cocoon of healing and sitting with myself for whatever was coming next. At the time, I felt very alone and lonely and couldn't see outside the cocoon. I did the best I could but the pain from the loneliness began to take ahold of me. I could also observe myself and notice that this was somehow meant to be happening and I was fully learning about patience.   

I was working through the grief of the new changes in my life and then on 6/17/2021, I began the walk into the depths of my journey and my soul to find out the truth about myself questioning where I would end up. After leaving my relationship/partnership and moving to Central Florida for a couple of months, which ended up being 8 months, it pushed me into the re-birthing process of the truth of who I am. Life doesn't always work out the way we planned and in the time I was there, I confronted my darkness and what I brought to the jobs, relationships and life I had experienced. I learned in order to truly heal, I needed to grieve, forgive myself and others and find the love inside me.

Welcome to The Ride of My Life – Poem Talks!

After a year of deep diving into healing work and finding out about who I am and who I’ve been in my life, I share the poems I have written over this time that document the journey inside of me. Who am I really? I am Love and this is my Journey.   

In this poem talk video, I write about how I see my life changing and how different things are beginning to look from what I was used to. It was not an easy journey, but I started to see that the truth was inside me.

Barbara Drtina, a Wellness Specialist, Author, Speaker and Educator, has a background in Early Childhood Education and Health.  After experiencing a high conflict divorce, the suicide of her teenage daughter and the alienation of her grandson, she has become passionate about saving our children.  This involves working with both mothers and children. Barbara teaches and trains on mind set and lifestyle hacks to help mitigate the effects of trauma.  She recently published her story in the book, Ignite Possibilities this past May and has become a Voice for PA Awareness. Barbara has recently started a membership group called Own Your Life for women as well as a You Tube Channel called, The Hackable Life.

Moira’s passion is in giving the body it’s life. So many of us live with a war between our bodies and our minds and this can bring misery and illness. Our conditioned self, our inner child, our shadow runs our lives but it doesn’t have to be this way. By coming into the body’s nervous system and learning to hold it with care we can change deep rooted patterns. Moira supports people who see her and need her.  

She is a published writer and an artist, a hedgewitch and a mother. She loves quirky places and things. Her life is infused with the wonder of the everyday. She lives on the outskirts of Edinburgh with the youngest of her four daughters, her dog and two cats. Most afternoons you will find her with a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

As a little girl, I loved Valentine’s Day. Handing out the little Valentine’s Day cards to my friends, making cut outs of hearts with drawings, it was one of my favorite holidays. Hallmark made a name for itself with all the cards, later in my life, that I purchased for those that I loved. This year I did not have a significant other in my life to lavish gifts upon, but I did learn a great deal about love… Self-Love, why it was missing in my life and what I am doing to regain it..."
