Douglas Rich, 26, qualified for his first Wrangler National Final Rodeo in 2021. But, that didn't come easy.
Rich, who heeled for fellow NFR first-time qualifier Coy Rahlmann, battled it out the the bitter end of the 2021 ProRodeo regular season and finished inside of the Top 15 of the heeling world standings after adding $11,606 to his earnings from the ProRodeo Tour Finale at the California Rodeo Salinas.
His main driving factor to finish out the season was the recent passing of his father, Lonnie Rich, who passed away on Sept. 18.
