232. i didn't want to do much of anything this week because i've been feeling so heavy, discouraged, and outraged by our government.

229. we all have had a time when we had plans to do a task, but we did something else instead. most of us choose to handle it with lots of negative self-talk. like, "you never follow through" or "why do you always get so distracted?!"

i offer you a different choice in this episode. 

i give you a template to help you own your choices and have your own back. this option feels so much better (and more empowering!) AND it helps you get back on task quicker. 

here's the template: "i didn't ____________________ because i ___________________instead, because __________________________"

225. on this episode, i'm offering you a suggestion that might not sound like a good idea to you. but hear me out.

think about holding on to those rejection letters or those racing bibs from "bad" races.

there are a lot of arguments in favor of acknowledging the tough times, most importantly that it reminds you of your whole human story and that you are one tough cookie.
