Operation Reinvention took another when we moved out of our home into our motorhome. It happened only 36 hours before getting orders to evacuate for Hurricane Irma. We chose Panama City, Florida. Sunday morning we awoke with the campground buzzing. Irma had shifted. The was only one question. Will we hunker down and shelter in place or hit the road? We chose to stay. Within minutes a group of strangers became a village and circled the wagons. Those of us with large motor homes formed a wind block for the smaller trainers. We figured out who had food, water, fuel, generators, communication, and safety gear. Within an hour, our compound was secure and ready to ride out the storm. As Zig Ziglar is famous saying, "You can get everything you want in life if you help others get what they want." Good advice - especially when facing a storm.
