In this episode, I share some thoughts on the meaning that we give to our stories. “Nothing in life has any meaning except the meaning you give it.” ~ Tony Robbins. This is a mantra I continually use in my life. Our life is composed of multiple life experiences and people that are sometimes strategically placed in our lives to teach us something, or to help us become the best version of ourselves.
In this episode, we discuss: 1) The truth is the truth, and the story is the story. Not all experiences will be great experiences and that’s ok. Life is forever giving us what we need to become the best version of ourselves. Whatever we are telling ourselves is the truth we are giving it. The sooner we can get ourselves back to neutral the better.
2) The moments in our life that may appear to be the closed doors, the stopped opportunities may actually in turn be the doors that change the game for us. Sometimes we are only a few degrees off, and not as stuck as we think we are.
3) The meaning that we give to things actually decides our actions and emotions. The meaning that we give something comes from our past experiences - good and bad, from our fears, goals, failures, successes, and our interpretation of what it all means. We are the ones keeping ourselves stuck in our stories. Join the HOW Methodhttps://www.marshavanw.com/thehowmethod
