Fr. Robert Spitzer joins us on the Tangent to talk about the scientific evidence for the soul found in case studies on near death experiences. We're talking the soul leaving the body, going to heaven (or hell...) and returning back to the body. All while the brain shows a flat EEG (meaning there's no electrical activity in the brain, and therefore a 0% possibility this is a hallucination). Further, he bolsters the argument by focusing on blind patients, who experience an NDE, see for the first time, and return to their bodies.
PLUS Fr. Spitzer dives into the case studies surrounding the Shroud of Turin, the possibility of seeing angels before death, and SO MUCH MORE!
