You know what I think? Boobs. Episode 9 is a mediacast, which means that the three of us each chose two topics and then we discussed! Whoa. Seriously. This is why we can’t have nice things. You just sit there and be nice or I’m turning this blog around. This week’s Othercast features some pretty epic drunk stories, a website we found all about DIY sex toys (ewwww gross), and the rampant incompetence that hovers over self-checkout stalls at your local supermarket. Really though the DIY sex toys website is insane. They show you how you can use a buttplug as a door jam… umm yeah…. Check it out.

Jeff had the honors to select this week’s film for Movie Night, and he chose Baby’s Day Out.  Directed by John Hughes (the guy who directed St. Elmo’s Fire and Breakfast Club), this movie came out in 1994 and stars one of the chicks from Sex and the City, Joe Mantegna, Lara Flynn Boyle, Cypher from the Matrix, and the asshole from The Wedding Singer.  Basically it’s a movie about a baby who outsmarts and causes continuous bodily harm to three bumbling criminals.  Imagine what happens to Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern in Home Alone but concentrate all of that on one guy’s pair of balls. Fun filled family content for all!

In this Movie Night Jeff and Jake discuss the movie World’s Greatest Dad, which is directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, and stars Robin Williams. Jake and Jeff disagreed on some things about the movie, but both agreed about how painful it was to watch. Check it out!

Well hi there! Our movie this week was Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, which of course can be found on the Netflix Watch it Now. This short movie (45 mins) comes to us from Joss Whedon, creator of the 90s TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (meh) and also the short-lived Firefly (fuck yeah), and stars Neil Patrick Harris.  This is the first time that we all liked the selection of our movie night, but I doubt that will happen very often.  Check it out!
