  • Episode 99 – T-Bone Conga
Well hello there!  This week we’ve got our dear friend Nolan from shiftlesshobocoldwar.com back again.  We discuss the hair styles of a shitty pop band called Hot Chelle Rae, a ethnomusicologist who’s favorite pastime is playing his flute while in a snowstorm or under a rock, and Nolan tells us about him stumbling around downtown Denver drunk and crying looking for his car.       Watch some more videos of this guy here.  Ridiculous. Enjoy!

  • Episode 98 – Support This!
Hey, you know what?  We’ve almost done this podcast 100 times!  That’s actually pretty crazy when you think about it.  Our special 100th episode is just a few weeks away, so get super-mega-fantastically excited!  Your grandmother will be very disappointed if you don’t.  And you don’t want to make Nana disappointed now do you? Speaking of grandmothers, this week Jake tells us all about his recent trip to North Dakota (where he went to see his grandmother) and some of the interesting things he saw during his trip.  These include a South Dakotan view on support ribbons:   A food establishment that features pizza, chicken, greasy fat guys, screaming kids, and confusing marketing:   And a light switch that only someone’s grandpa would have in his basement.   Enjoy!

  • Episode 97 – Here’s the Atom Smasher
Jake is out this week, but Seth from the F-List Movie Podcast steps up to fill the Jake’s gigantic size-10,000 Frankenstein fungus shoes.  This is kind of a free-form episode – even for us – so hold on as we cast a net and dredge Google image search for whatever subjects pop into our heads. Sure the internet is a terrible, terrible place, but it can also contain small treasures like this: Rich also tells us about his experience in a place called “Tool Zone” – which sounds like it could be either: A) The term a linguistically prude, yet spurned ex-girlfriend uses to describe her former BF’s “special place” B) Most college bars after 11pm C) Surely not an actual store As we approach Episode 100, stay tuned here and on our facebook page. We’ll be doing some awesome stuff!  In the interim, enjoy our newest episode!

  • Episode 96 – Amish Friendship Bread
Remember when we had the amazing Matt Clark as a guest on our podcast? Do you also remember how when all was said and done, we ended up with enough great stuff that we had to split it into two episodes to keep you from OVERDOSING ON AMAZING? I do! Matt Clark is back in what I’m privately referring to as “Matt Clark Part II: Matt Clark Strikes Back”. Which, by the way, planted the seeds of THIS idea. I’m not going to write any more this week, because frankly, nothing else can compare to the picture you’re about to see. ENJOY.

  • Episode 95 – Not For Beginners
I’m not going to lie. A lot of people say a lot of things about a lot of stuff. But you need to LISTEN when I tell you that this is one of our best podcast episodes EVER. Here are some reasons why: *We solve a problem, and that problem is about STAR WARS *We are menaced by the homeless.WE MENACE THEM BACK. *We have an amazing guest who recently went to a GWAR concert. I think it’s safe to say that a majority of the awesomeness that occurs during this podcast can be attributed to our VERY special guest Matt Clark – who you probably know from such places as MTV Multiplayer where he writes fantastic articles about video games, and Twitter where he writes great 140 character thoughts about lots of stuff. Not only is he a great guy, but the problem we solved about Star Wars? That was all him. See? In fact, Matt Clark was so great that we couldn’t cram all of him into one tiny podcast, so you have MORE of him to look forward to next week! Hooray for great podcasts and terrible verbs like “cram”! Enough idle chit-chat, you need to listen to this podcast IMMEDIATELY. Also, stop by our facebook or twitter if you’d like. Or subscribe on iTunes and give us a review while you’re there! Thanks for listening!

  • Episode 94 – El Creepo
Apparently when Jake was growing up he was some sort of metaphysical magnet for REALLY REALLY WEIRD STUFF. I mean this stuff just… happened… to him – and being the tough little guy he was, he repressed those memories, and just went on livin’ like only Jake can go on livin’. Fast forward about 20 years, and now he has his own podcast which allows him to regularly drop super-fucked-up truth bombs on us. Last week’s memory was about some sort of basement dungeon shower, and this week it’s about everyone sobbing with joy at a church camp. Let me be the first to tell you, you’re in for a treat. Other topics covered include, foot fungus, talent shows, Japanese Bug Fights, and Jake beating a kid with a belt for the amusement of his councilors at a 4-H camp. Yes. You read that correctly. THIS WEEK IS CRAZY! LISTEN NOW!

  • Episode 93 – Poop Jackson’s Treehouse
Our good friend Mike is back this week, and we’re so excited we just can’t fucking stand it.  We discuss how much Mike really wants there to be a new Outkast album, how Jeff would probably be attractive as a girl (and Jake most definitely would not be), Internet chat rooms that Jeff terrorized as a teenager, and the shenanigans of Mike’s childhood friend Poop Jackson.  Oh and Jake tells a story about a gross creepy shower that he and his friends used to shower in when they were little.  Depending on which of the Terrible Friends you ask, this either isn’t as bad as it sounds, or is way worse than it sounds.  Oh and be sure you listen all the way to the very end of the podcast for a special song that Mike sings for us. Enjoy!

  • Episode 92 – I’m Not Puttin’ This In My Book
Many a wise man has been quoted saying “The Ears are the mouth of  the Brain.” If that’s the case, then this podcast is a delicious footlong family-sized bucket of classic recipe of awesome which is making your ears salivate with anticipation. Enough waiting. Let’s chow down. In this very special episode we discuss sandwich shops, small town living, land barons, and the surprisingly large internet community that exists solely in support of the idea of marrying your cousin. Yes. You read that sentence correctly. We invite you to enjoy this healthy helping of podcast! If your brain is still hungry after the main course, head over to our iTunes page and check out out entire backlog of episodes that we recently made available. If you’re feeling extra awesome, write us a review while you’re there! You’re the best!

  • Episode 91 – One Star!
This week’s episode has our disgust at a Star Wars/Transformers crossover, Jeff doesn’t know what a pulley is, and we come up with hobbies that we think each other should try out.  Some of these hobbies include Jake making caterpillar jelly, Rich knitting Legend of Zelda doilies, and Jeff trolling cooking forums.  We also discover the wild world of Fan Fiction, and read a few stories from some of our favorite TV shows.  Then we threw up.  A lot. Enjoy!
