Shannon Vistisen is a graphic designer, outdoor lover, wife, mom and founder of Littlest Sidekick Outfitters. Shannon is passionate about being outside and raising her son to enjoy life. In order to help him enjoy the outside she knew she needed the right gear for him, but ran into the same problem as many people - quality kids gear is quite expensive and they grow out of it so quickly!
Enter Littlest Sidekick Outfitters - a quality children's outdoor clothing company where you can use the item for 6 months, return it and receive credit towards your next item! The returned items are professionally cleaned and mended, then sold again for a lower price.
For added fun, each piece of clothing has a code in it. When you receive your garment you can log on to the website and see where else the item has been and what adventures it has seen!
Did you know The Things She Does is now on Pinterest? Follow the show there for great pins on travel, fashion, lifestyle, lifehacks, fitness and more.
Shannon is a morning person and makes the most of her day by getting up at 3:30 AM!!! This allows her to get some alone time and get work done before heading off to her day job.
"I started looking into manufacturing and it was fascinating!"
Shannon shares about how other entrepreneurs have helped her along the way and shared their insights and opinions. We talk about how there is room for all of us and we all have something to offer.
She will be in Colorado next year for a trade show and I told her to go visit my favorite mountain there - Breckenridge.
Some of the things Shannon does NOT do includes spending a lot of time out with friends, watching TV and keeping her house super tidy.
You can find Shannon at Littlest Sidekick Outfitters, on Instagram and Facebook. And don't forget to check out their kickstarter campaign!
