The Treehouse Show Podcast

What exactly counts as cheating these days? One husband turned to Reddit after admitting his wife likes to "cuddle" with another guy from the gym, and the internet had plenty to say. Dan and Trey dive into the relationship debate and ask where the line should really be drawn.

Then things get even stranger as we discover why ordering a stripper to your mansion can go spectacularly wrong, reveal the kinkiest states in America, celebrate Ryan Gosling's birthday by debating whether his post-The Notebook career has been one long apology tour for men everywhere, and finish with one of the dumbest Reddit questions we've ever heard.

Say it ain't so, Tony Romo!

On this episode of The Treehouse Show, we kick things off with the surprising arrest of former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo for an alleged OWI. We listen to the newly released body cam footage and debate the big question: Did he actually appear to be under the influence, or is there more to the story?

Then it's time for Celebrity Birthdays, where we're shocked that Laurence Fishburne is younger than we expected while Arnold Schwarzenegger somehow keeps getting older without slowing down.

Finally, we wrap up the week with one of the internet's hottest debates: Can millennials actually make minivans cool again? Is the minivan due for a comeback, or is this trend doomed before it starts?

Join Dan and Trey for another episode filled with funny debates, pop culture, celebrity talk, weird news, and plenty of laughs.

Do you "give someone the business"...or "show them the business?" 🤔

That's the debate that kicks off this episode of The Treehouse Show as Dan and his wife find themselves in a surprisingly passionate argument over which expression is actually correct. Naturally, Trey has opinions.

From there, we dive into Gen Z's growing obsession with retro culture. Vintage clothes, old-school technology, classic styles—why is everything old suddenly cool again? If you could bring back one thing from the past for Gen Z to experience, what would it be?

During Celebrity Birthdays, Josh Radnor's birthday sparks a surprisingly heated discussion: Was Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother one of television's most annoying main characters? Love him or hate him, we have plenty to say.

Finally, we wrap things up with one of the coolest—and creepiest—stories of the day: a California camp that lets you live through a horror movie experience. Would you sign up...or run the other direction?

It's another episode full of pop culture, nostalgia, laughs, and completely unnecessary debates.

Getting older sounded a lot cooler when we were kids... right?

On this episode of The Treehouse Show, Trey celebrates another birthday, which sparks a conversation about whether adulthood and aging turned out anything like we imagined. Spoiler alert: probably not.

Then we fully embrace our inner nerds and break down the biggest announcements from San Diego Comic-Con, including the newest Marvel reveals, upcoming movies, and the hidden meaning behind Deadpool's mysterious gray-blue costume that has fans theorizing all over the internet.

During Celebrity Birthdays, we look back at Elizabeth Berkley's incredible rise after Saved by the Bell—and how one movie dramatically changed her career. We also celebrate Pat Morita, wondering if Mr. Miyagi ever got paid what he truly deserved for becoming one of the most beloved movie mentors of all time.

And because no episode is complete without a trip to Florida... a Florida preacher is suing OpenAI after ChatGPT allegedly didn't do exactly what he expected. We'll explain the bizarre lawsuit and why it has everyone talking.

If you love pop culture, Marvel, weird news, celebrity stories, and laughing at life's absurdity, welcome to The Treehouse Show.

The internet has a new obsession... Jimothy the Raccoon. 🦝 Naturally, The Treehouse Show has opinions.

This episode starts with America's latest viral animal sensation before Dan introduces us to a legendary massage therapist in Michigan whose online reviews are so over-the-top they sound completely made up. Is Lovell the greatest masseuse alive?

We also celebrate celebrity birthdays with a deep dive into legendary actors who became forever associated with a single iconic role. From Sir Alec Guinness and Obi-Wan Kenobi to Willem Dafoe's incredible career, we explore how Hollywood can overshadow even the most decorated performers. Plus, we uncover the fun friendship between George Lucas and Steven Spielberg and the hidden Easter eggs they secretly placed in each other's movies.

Finally, Reddit delivers another relationship disaster. A man asks the internet whether he's wrong for sending a woman a bill for all the meals and gifts he bought after she decided not to continue dating him. Petty? Fair? Or completely ridiculous?

If you enjoy funny news, viral internet stories, Reddit relationship drama, pop culture, movies, and two friends making fun of the world's weirdest headlines, you've found your people.

What do you do when someone confidently says something that's completely wrong?

Do you correct them... or just smile and walk away?

That's where this episode of The Treehouse Show begins after Dan hears someone butcher a simple Supergirl fact and has to decide whether it's worth starting an argument.

That leads us into one of the funniest education stories we've heard in a while: a Brown University professor discovered just how dependent students have become on AI and online resources by springing an old-fashioned, in-person final exam on them—with hilarious results.

As always, celebrity birthdays send us down another unexpected rabbit hole. Dan explains why Corey Haim was always better than Corey Feldman, while Trey hands out some very unpopular opinions on Will Ferrell movies... including why he thinks Elf is wildly overrated.

Then we wrap things up with two stories that prove reality is always stranger than fiction: a woman who allegedly went on a biting spree inside a bar, and a flight instructor who bailed out of an airplane—leaving everyone wondering whether it was an accident or the world's worst teaching method.

If you enjoy funny news, bizarre true stories, pop culture debates, celebrity birthdays, and comedians going completely off the rails, you'll feel right at home with The Treehouse Show.In this episode:

• Should you correct people who are confidently wrong?
• Dan's Supergirl debate

Haircuts. Sleep. Celebrity birthdays. A Florida man and a vacuum.

Yep... it's another completely normal episode of The Treehouse Show.

Dan is back stateside and finally got a professional haircut instead of his usual DIY special, which sparks a debate: Would you ever cut your own hair? Things only get weirder from there as we talk about why falling asleep with the TV on might be ruining your sleep, why Dan somehow keeps crossing paths with America's wandering stomach parasite, and how two celebrity birthdays send us down one of the strangest rabbit holes yet.

Forrest Whitaker and Brian Austin Green somehow lead us into John Cusack's best movies, the Jennifer Aniston vs. Angelina Jolie debate, and plenty of pop culture tangents only The Treehouse Show could pull off.

Then we wrap things up in the most Florida way imaginable with the unbelievable punishment handed to a man caught having sex with... a vacuum cleaner.

Welcome back to The Treehouse Show, the comedy podcast where weird news, pop culture, and life's dumbest questions collide.

This episode starts with an important debate: How do you know if you've finally grown up... or if you're just having a mid-life crisis? Trey opens up about life after alcoholism, how sobriety has completely changed his outlook, and why he's suddenly developing an obsession with houseplants. Is this emotional maturity, or is he just one step away from eating dinner at Luby's before sunset?

We also celebrate today's celebrity birthdays, which somehow turns into a confession about iconic TV shows we've never watched—including Lost. Are we missing out, or was everyone else just confused for six seasons?

Then we dive into one of Reddit's most unintentionally hilarious relationship posts. A woman says her husband cheated, but the very first sentence of her story may explain exactly why. Sometimes the biggest clue is hiding in plain sight.

Finally, we wrap things up with one of the strangest medical stories we've seen in a while—a man ends up with a burning penis, and surprisingly, STDs had absolutely nothing to do with it.

If you enjoy funny news, Reddit drama, pop culture, celebrity discussions, and two lifelong friends making fun of everything, you've found your people.
