- Matthew 24 / Crawford Loritts has often said that we, as American Christians tend to have a consumer mindset when it comes to our spiritual lives. We see God as somewhat of a “life assistant.” We call on Him for help with relationships, health issues, finances, whatever. We expect Him to fit our agenda rather than committing to work with His. It’s time to rearrange our thinking, to consider what it truly means to be kingdom seekers. Are we prepared for the return of Jesus Christ?
