From the TTPOA conference floor in Round Rock, Texas, we take live questions and pull the conversation back to what actually keeps people alive: strong foundational skills, honest accountability, and the ability to move from task to task with zero delay when the fight starts. We dig into what makes a shoot house useful for law enforcement training and what quietly sabotages learning, from obvious bullet traps to target setups that let people memorize “the right answer.” We talk about how to build a progression that develops visual discipline, decision-making, and scoring standards, plus why many real shootings look like officers “shooting the situation” instead of shooting their vision. This episode we sit down with Mike Pannone and discuss training and mindset in the LE world.  Mike is a former operational member of U.S. Marine Reconnaissance, Army Special Forces (Green Beret) and 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force) as well as a competition USPSA pistol shooter holding a Master class ranking in Limited, Limited-10 and Production divisions. He has participated in stabilization, combat and high-risk protection operations in support of U.S. policies throughout the world as both an active duty military member, and a civilian contractor.
