Registration gets underway later this week for the 2026 Fall Recreation Social Leagues and we have those details for you. We share with you a few activities going on within The Villages Recreation & Parks and remind you about the deadline to apply for the Fall Craft Show. Also, there will be a 9/11 Remembrance Day ceremony on Friday. Plus, we update you on local musical entertainment on the schedule for this week. 

The Daily Sun's annual College Colors Day Funds for Food donation period is open and numbers are already more than half way to passing last year's record-breaking figures. The donation period is open through Thursday then it's time for a community-wide celebration on Friday. You can participate in a fast-paced, interactive game night with a team, laugh along with some comedians then be amazed by a magician. We have all of those details for you. 

You just might have a ball twice this week at two free Sunset Socials. Sunset Island will be the serene location for Karma Tai Chi on Saturday then you can attend a crafters handmade fair at Colony Cottage. Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Fall Craft Show, and we have those details for you. Villagers for Veterans has two musical events on the calendar for you, plus, enjoy the sounds of Neil Diamond then attend a dance party, too.
