We have plenty of activities and events to share with you this week. We will begin this episode with entertainment options for you then share what's going on within The Villages Recreation and Parks Department. This will include details about an outdoor concert and movie, along with a health and wellness expo and Starry Starry Night event. Plus, there are two car shows on the schedule, as well. 

In recognition of Veteran's Day on Tuesday, there are several local events and concerts that you can attend, which includes an annual event at Brownwood Paddock Square filled with patriotism and local American heroes. We also have details about other shows on the calendar including Rocky and the Rollers twice. Plus, we get you ready for the next on the square event and several extra options for this week. 

As we enter the first week of November, you can take part in the annual Hearts for our Hospital Health and Cycling Expo and big bike challenge and a three-hour aquafitness marathon. There are a couple of fun ways to see talented dogs in action. Plus, follow the yellow brick road and go somewhere over the rainbow during a production of The Wizard of Oz. We also have details about a New Car Auto Showcase and Artist Round the Square. 

Halloween community fun continues this week with a few different activities, including Scooter's Monster Bash and a pirate cruise on Lake Sumter. We also have details about the annual Government Day, plenty of entertainment opportunities for you to enjoy, in addition to information about some new golf amenities coming your way soon.

A country dance demonstration to start off your week followed by four days worth of Hometown Halloween and lots of resident lifestyle art and craft shows and sales, too. We also add in a variety of musical entertainment options featuring the sounds of Motown to Led Zeppelin and much more. 

Get ready to add some activities to your social calendar. The Villages Heritage Festival is coming your way early in the week followed by an Outdoor Concert Series, The Villages Softball Championship, the Men's Village Cup and lots of opportunities to purchase some one-of-a-kind art and craft creations made by your neighbors. And if you are seeking some stage entertainment options for this week, you can go to "Gypsy," The Vampire Circus or a few others. 

Active Aging Week is here, along Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Night Out. We have all of those details for you, along with a tease to the October issue of The Villages Magazine. We get you ready to look to the sky, as well as, remind you to register for some upcoming events. On the music front, you can enjoy the sounds of the bands Chicago and Foreigner, while also supporting the next generation of musicians.

The fall season is here and with that comes the annual fall craft show, the fall polo season and fall high school sports. We update you on some of those activities going on this week, as well as, live entertainment options. We also have a preview of Active Aging Week that will start next week. 

It's another great week filled with a variety of activities for you to enjoy in The Villages. We have details about how to register for courses at The Enrichment Academy and for the fall social leagues. The Music Lover's Showcase will be held on Thursday and Friday filled with great entertainment from talented residents in this community. A new course catalog for the fall/winter season at The Enrichment Academy is being released this week, plus you can attend a Learn & Grow Expo to meet instructors and ask any questions you may have. A train expo show & sale is pulling into Savannah Center complete with multiple operating layouts and 50 vendors. And Villagers for Veterans has three big music events on the schedule all in an effort to support veterans. 

**On Friday, Sept. 19, you can attend the annual POW/MIA Recognition Day Service at Veterans Memorial Park of The Villages. Veteran Charlene Minger will conduct the missing service Member Table Ceremony. Please bring a chair for your comfort and remember that this is a dog free park.**
