Camp Villages summer fun begins this week and continues with nine straight weeks of activities for grandparents and their grandchildren to enjoy together. The Villages Recreation and Parks is offering three Camp Villages info sessions to help you get ready for a fun-filled summer. First off, congratulations to the more than 2,100 residents who participated in the 21st edition of The Villages Senior Games! Bowling is the final activity on the schedule. There are two Friday Night Car Shows this week and at the end of the week, it's time for a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Keep the music going with two tribute concerts, Evolution Motown, and a local student production. The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center turns ninth and you are invited to a celebration on Tuesday. We have those details for you. Let 2024 The Villages Senior Games action begin! Resident athletes will be competing in various sports throughout the community this month as they strive to earn a spot at the Florida Senior Games. From a Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band to songs from Lion King, Chicago and The Wizard of Oz, you have several musical options to choose from, as well.
