Although the Vision of the Redemption of the Dead was received by Joseph F. Smith in 1918, it could not be more pertinent to the Saints today. The doctrines that flow from this revelatory Thinning of the Veil experience have unique implications for our day. This episode studies the relevancy to our lives and draws comparisons from all previous dispensations. This extraordinary vision and its inherent doctrine should be a mainstay and focus of our Christ centered lives. Few things are more persuasive in our reasoning for gathering Israel then this very unique vision of those on the other side of the veil and why they would be involved in our lives today. This episode is Part 1 of a two part series that extrapolates the wonderful promises and realities of Thinning of the Veil experiences patterned in this transcendent vision.
