  • Ep. 186 You Know The Vibes ft. Jai Bliss
Today I have mother, rapper, psychic, astrologist Jai Bliss on the show. I befriended Jai Bliss over Twitter talking about energy drinks months ago.
On this episode Jai talks about spirits, energies, doing readings, how she got into making music, her creative process & the meaning behind her rap name. What I didn’t realize prior to this conversation is that Jai Bliss has been clean for 8 years- so we talk about addiction & recovery. We talk about having ADHD & time management issues, breaking intergenerational curses & what it’s like being a young mother. I was moved by our conversation & hope you are too!

  • Ep. 184 Class In Session ft. Emily
Today I have my good friend Emily on the podcast. Emily and I went to the same university & now she is a psychology professor. I was always curious about what its like for Em to be the other side of the classroom. Emily talks about how she became interested in psychology & eventually became a college professor, practicing empathy & understanding in the classroom, an interesting psychology experiment involving a rat & dopamine, email pet peeves, procrastination & more. Emily also talks about how students allegedly use Chat GPT/bots to write papers & more. I haven’t spoken to Emily outside of dm’s and memes for years hence the almost 2 hour length episode.

  • Ep. 183 Red & Green Flags Part 1 ft. Jule Kim
Today I got Jule Kim back on the show to talk about red & green flags in relationships. This is Part 1. This episode stems from our Emotional Intelligence episode. I think everyone in listening has a story of red flags, which indicate unhealthy toxic behaviors in relationships. Jule and I share a couple red flag stories from past relationships, & the denial that may come with it. The red flags we discuss on this episode are: overcontrolling behavior, lack of trust & low self-esteem. I was so engaged in this conversation & didn't realize I went over the time limit so we have to save the rest of the red flags & green flags for the next episode.
    Hope you enjoy!

  • Ep. 181 The Smoking Section ft. theAdvisor_
Today I got the live-streamed homie Tone aka theAdivsor_ on the show. We met online through the web & became cool since. We talk about clothing & shoes that we rocked growing up, uniforms at catholic school, Grade A, how he got into streaming on Twitch, the powerful medicinal benefits of cannabis, Fast & Furious franchise and more. I really enjoyed this conversation, it was laid back & fun. Tone has a calming, chill vibe which is probably one of the many reasons why his livestreams do so well.

  • Ep. 179 How does it feel to be God's favourite ft. Kiem
I am back with my recovery buddy Kiem this week to talk about her recent milestone in staying clean. On her previous episode, she was taking a break from partying. This episode she has 5 months & 9 days of clean time. I ask Kiem about how it feels being clean: why she decided to walk away from drugs & alcohol, and how she is managing to do it. Kiem recalls hitting a “wall phase”, going to outpatient treatment & working a drug & alcohol abstinence program & more. Kiem and I never met IRL but we always had similar taste in humor (we laughed for a solid 30 seconds during the convo) memes & our love of getting loaded. It’s awesome to see we both are living a life we never imagined: a life without drugs & alcohol.
