The highly publicised meeting between EFF leader Julius Malema and former President Jacob Zuma at Nkandla in KwaZulu-Natal ended without any of the two parties revealing details of the discussions. Malema and his entourage arrived in a helicopter at Nkandla at around midday. He was accompanied by former EFF national chairperson advocate Dali Mpofu, ANC Ekurhuleni regional chairperson Mzwandile Masina and ANC National executive member Tony Yengeni. President Cyril Ramaphosa has cautiously reacted to former President Jacob Zuma's defiance of the Constitutional Court ruling that compels him to appear before the State Capture Commission. Earlier this week, ANC Secretary-general, Ace Magashule, said Zuma has done nothing wrong and should be left alone. Ramaphosa urged South Africans to give Zuma space to consider his views about the commission. He was speaking to the media while visiting Soweto to pay tribute to Rebecca Kotane who died on Sunday at the age of 108.
