The National Prosecuting Authority has hailed the three-year sentence handed to former real estate agent, Vicki Momberg, as a victory for the Constitution. One year of the sentence has been suspended. Momberg was found guilty on four counts of crimen injuria after racially attacking a police officer in 2016. Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says if the female learner who threw a book at her teacher is found guilty she will be punished for her actions.
