In this week’s episode, we explore one of the most disturbing and well-documented poltergeist cases in modern British history. In 2006, a family in South Shields, England, claimed to be terrorized by an unseen force that escalated from simple disturbances to violent physical attacks and chilling written threats. Toys moved on their own and objects flew across the room. The case drew the attention of paranormal investigators and remains one of the most controversial hauntings in the UK.

In this episode of Haunted, we explore two eerie corners of Eastern Europe. In Bulgaria’s Rhodope Mountains, the abandoned village of Zhelezhari whispers with tales of curses and vanished lives. In Estonia, Kolga Manor hides the ghost of a red-haired child and midnight gatherings of unseen card players. Old places. Lingering presences. Forgotten… but not silent.

n this week’s episode, we explore one of Southeast Asia’s most unsettling supernatural figures: the Toyol. Known throughout Malaysia, Singapore, and parts of Indonesia, the Toyol is said to be the spirit of a dead child, invoked and kept by practitioners of black magic to carry out theft, mischief, or even vengeance. Often described as small, greenish or grey-skinned with sharp teeth and red eyes, this entity is bound to a master who feeds and cares for it in return for its services. But using a Toyol comes with a cost — one that often spirals into tragedy.
