The car stalls, the headlights die, and a whisper in an ancient language fills the silence. The woman was never found after she vanished decades ago.

**The Flower on the Back Seat**
Benedicto Salazar, a fisherman driving home from Cebu City, hears a woman's lullaby bleeding through his radio static. A floating figure in white glides toward his car on the Danao highway. The next morning, he finds a fresh sampaguita blossom on his back seat.
