I Never Saw The Leaves Fall Until I was 30 Years Old
I woke up a few weeks ago and for the first time in 2 months the temperature was a bit cooler and the humidity was not present in the air.
I grew up in Southern California where the temperature is 65-75 degrees year around. Seasons don’t really exist there…
some people say things to me like,
“that would be great!”
or
“don’t you miss the mild weather?”
The answer is I don’t. You see I enjoy the changing of the seasons. I’d never seen the leaves fall until I was 30 years old.
The change of seasons can be an advantage to us when it comes to your health.
The change is an ALERT an attention grabber that things are changing and the body needs to get prepared.
As it relates to your health and fitness…
Have you been focused over the last season… say the last 3 months?
Have you gotten your workouts in? Have you eaten well? Have you been traveling and been too busy to focus on you?
Whatever the answer is to these questions the good news is we are going into a change of season and you can take the next 3 months as an opportunity to start fresh and get on track as we go back to school and move out of hot weather/ vacationing.
I encourage you to participate in our Nutrition Challenge this September. If you have been off track use this season as a way to get on track. If you have been doing great then keep the momentum going strong.
See you in the Challenge,
