Today our guest is our friend Brian Liu.

Just for a little of context. Andrew, Lee, and I are in this group chat called 6-pack Global Challenge. There’s about 50 friends in this group chat, age range 30’s to 50’s, living all over the world.

As the title of the group chat says - we’re all working towards a six pack. But really it’s a community where we share exercise, diet, and health knowledge with each other and hold each other accountable.

Brian’s perspective and health journey is quite unique. His wife Audrey recently crossed the 5 year mark of being in remission after her cancer diagnosis in 2018. Through this life-altering experience, he’s gained a deep knowledge on diet and inflammation.

What’s more is that he’s been tracking everything about his lifestyle in an excel sheet since the cancer 5 years ago. A detailed food journal, including the amount of daily water intake, coffee, alcohol, sleep, exercise. He’s quantified things everywhere he can, qualified everywhere else, and has monitored all the patterns.

Obviously, this impressed the hell out of all of us in the group. And we wanted to learn more.

Ron Wong is the President and CEO of Imprenta Communications Group Incorporated. An award-winning marketing, communications and political campaign agency specializing in today's multicultural consumers and communities.

Ron has 4 decades of professional experience advising elected officials, Fortune 500 companies, and government entities on public relations, political, and communication strategies. Ron is a master storyteller, and has won nearly 100 awards for his creative work.

Prior to founding Imprenta, Ron served on the staff of some the country’s most prominent elected officials. Including California Governor Gray Davis. And was a political appointee in President Clinton’s administration at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Ron is also the founder and creator of the Asian Pacific Leadership Foundation. APALF. Recognizing the need for Asian Pacific Americans to serve as elected and appointed leaders in America. Successful alumni include California Attorney General Robert Bonta and California State Controller Betty Yee.

Ron is also the producer and writer of The Race Epidemic: Resurgence of the Yellow Peril. An award winning documentary on the epidemic of hate against Asian Americans during the covid outbreak.

Today, our guest is San Eng. San is a Wall Street Journal best-selling author of the book “The Ten Commandments of Investing.”

A collection of guiding principles from the greatest investors in history that he cowrote with his nephew Tim and daughter Oia.

San is currently focused on real estate investing in multifamily apartments. With a 5-year goal to acquire and actively manage a billion dollar portfolio in the top 10 growth markets like Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Dallas.

Prior to Real Estate, San was the cofounder and managing partner of SMC Capital. An early growth private equity firm that was ranked top 30 in China.

San’s current mission in life is coaching his 3 daughters through GenFIRE to achieve Financial Independence. Genfire is an educational platform who’s mission is to empower one million parents and the next generation to achieve Financial Independence.

Today, we are delighted to welcome our friend, Tuan Uong - to the podcast. Tuan's formative years were spent in South Central LA, where he was the only Asian kid in a predominantly Hispanic, low-income neighborhood. He was raised single-handedly by his mother, a refugee from Vietnam.

Tuan earned his Bachelor's from UCLA, followed by a law degree at UC San Francisco. From there, he spent a decade as a litigation attorney doing corporate law at Reed Smith, a top global law firm.

Today, Tuan is a Litigation Attorney at Sessions, Israel & Shartle and has litigated hundreds of cases in state and federal courts. Tuan also undertakes pro bono work, notably suing the U.S. government on behalf of Vietnamese refugees and representing a Cambodian genocide survivor.

Today, our guest is Joseph Choi. Most recently, Joe was the VP of corporate development for AmazeVR. Most well known for it’s Megan Thee Stallion Concert in Virtual Reality. From 2011 to 2018, Joe was a Navy SEAL officer where he was deployed in Korea, Philippines, Guam, and Iraq. Joe received a bachelors in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, where he played for the Water Polo team in the NCAA. Joe also received an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. I’m very excited to bring Joe on to learn about his journey and ask him questions about the Navy SEAL Teams.

In this episode, Andrew shares his experiences his wife's pregnancy, childbirth, and having a week old daughter.

Dane Lund is a Core Contributor and DAO architect for the Web3 Accelerator Alliance DAO. After graduating Harvard Law School, Dane became a litigator for Wilkie Farr focused on corporate governance and shareholder rights - looking at the inner workings of board rooms. And then became an investment banker where he financed private equity transactions before becoming a DAO architect for Alliance.
