Political activity in Jammu & Kashmir can only begin if political activity in the rest of the country offers an alternative to the BJP’s view on Kashmir, former PDP member & finance minister of J&K Haseeb Drabu tells ThePrint’s National Affairs editor Jyoti Malhotra. Drabu pointed to how Farooq Abdullah took up from the Vijaywada conclave in 1983 organized by NTR and invited Opposition leaders to Kashmir and rallied them to come together to spur politics in the region.
