In this podcast I share what I consider to be the secret sauce of marketing – relevancy and engaging. Without these two ingredients each time we share a piece of content, we are risking losing out on quality interactions with our audience. Although I do consider marketing to be full of different types of recipes, so to speak, the sauce that your audience will love has to have these two ingredients.
I consider Micro Marketing to be any of the marketing that you are doing for your business that is targeting a smaller audience. Yes, in this podcast I do focus a lot of branding from the top of your business, but micro marketing can be very effective for your ROI. In this podcast, I talk about how I use social media and traditional marketing to build campaigns that will focus your audiences attention into one area, product or service of your business. I talk Facebook, Adroll and how those programs work in parallel with each other, as well as how to budget for all of it.
A marketers job is never finished, and neither is the amount of reports we have to provide for executives, clients and anyone else wondering what it is we do every day. In this episode, I discuss how to create marketing reports for executives. I focus on 3 main areas: social media data, organic versus paid and what I can do better. Although the last area may seem like marketing suicide, it’s important to benchmark what could be done to improve what it is that we do. Also, with social media always growing, change is part of strategy. My key to it all – reverse engineer your data.
