TW: Pregnancy Loss
Today's episode is about the emotions and thoughts I experienced, and perhaps you have too, after getting pregnant again after loss. This is a situation that not many people want to talk about, so I'm doing that here to normalize not only what you may be feeling.

The purpose of this podcast has always been about spreading knowledge about grief and loss because knowledge is power. In the interest of that, I start a miniseries on pregnancy loss, which is a type of loss that is not discussed much and can lead to disenfranchised grief. Today's episode addresses early term loss, aka miscarriage, and stillbirth.

Today's episode focuses on losses that aren't commonly considered losses, and for that reason, they often lead to disenfranchised grief. The losses I discuss on this episode are pet loss, divorce, job loss, loss of health or way of life, loss of faith, and loss of non-existent experiences.

The end of a year is often a time to go within, think about what has happened in the last 12 months and consider what you'd like to do in the new year. But, how does grief figure into this? I talk about that on this episode, which is the last one in the miniseries on the holidays and grief.
