This episode about mold and its relationship with your health is going to be a really important one that you don't want to miss! In fact, my conversation with Brian and his insight into mold being a multi-system and multi-symptom problem blew me away.
Some of the things we discussed include: how a typically mold inspector views mold, an understanding of how the body deals with the exposure and the strain it can put on a marriage when the response is different, how mold toxicity becomes an issue in the areas of your health weakness, the first steps you can take to take back control, specific test recommendations and which ones to avoid, and so much more!
Truly, this conversation has the potential to be a game-changer for you and your health!

Do you know what to look for when reading the ingredient label on the products you're buying?
There's actually a lot of scary ingredients in products and processed foods that can cause cancer. In fact, some of the ones we talk about today have been directly linked to cancer in published studies and have been known to be a carcinogen or do free radical damage in the body.
So, join me while I break it all down, explain what each scary ingredient means and what it does in the body, and provide you with practical examples on where these ingredients are typically found. Plus, I'll give you an "action plan" on how you can do things in a more sustainable way.

This is going to be a different kind of episode than I've ever done in the past, but I really want to be transparent with you about the fears, struggles and what's been on my heart lately.
When you've had a loved one go through cancer, the worry and anxiety doesn't ever permanently go away. A "small" illness or the "tiniest" bruise can take you right back to when you were in the midst of treatment…even five years later.
So, today, I want to take a moment to connect with you, pray with you and provide you with some of the resources I use to help me move through these seasons of fear.

In today's episode, I discuss 15 specific nutrients that will help to protect you from developing cancer or protect your healthy cells if you're currently fighting cancer. I know I've discussed in previous episodes foods that you should and shouldn't eat, but today is different because we're going to break it down a bit more by focusing on the specific nutrients.
I share the specific benefits of each nutrient, why your body needs it and some foods where you can easily get these nutrients. I even briefly discuss the vegan and vegetarian diets and the importance of cholesterol. And finally, because I want this to be as "user-friendly" as possible, I'll give you a real life example of a breakfast, lunch and dinner that you can enjoy that will include all of the nutrients I discuss, as well as some practical tips and questions to ask yourself to help you think about your meals differently

I have the rarest treat for you guys on the podcast today because my husband, Josh, joins me! Seriously, this episode may be a once in a lifetime kind of situation because as you'll hear, it took a lot of begging to get him to join me. :) However, because I know that health challenges can be extremely hard on a relationship, I really wanted you to hear his insights, thoughts and personal experiences.
In this episode, we discuss what we did, what we didn't do and even a little about what we wish we would have known. Plus, Josh shares a few things that you can do to support your spouse, why he chose to trust me, the different kinds of love, things he personally learned when I couldn't show up for him, and the importance of community!
Seriously…this might be my favorite episode yet, and if after listening, you want to hear from Josh again, please be sure to leave a comment…so I don't have to beg quite as hard. ;)

Episode #24: A Personal Journey in Navigating Grief
Episode #21: Finding Purpose in Your Pain
I feel really honored to introduce you to my friend, Courtney! She's one of my favorite people and we're actually going to talk about a really hard topic…grief.
Grief can be a really difficult conversation for many people, especially because learning how to navigate grief and tragedy is such an emotional process. And while Courtney hasn't navigated a cancer diagnosis, her oldest child passed away unexpectedly, and I know you'll find so much value and appreciation for her honesty and transparency. Plus, even though everyone's grieving process is so personal and unique, she gives some really practical suggestions and ideas to help you or your loved one navigate something so overwhelming and life-alternating.
I pray that this conversation is as life-giving to you as it was to me!

I'm so, so excited about today's episode about the Vagus Nerve. I've recently received an increased number of questions about this type of therapy, and I think you're going to love learning all about the role it plays in a cancer diagnosis and in the prevention of disease.
The Vagus Nerve is actually a very powerful part of the body, but most people either have never heard about it or don't know what it is…even I didn't fully understand it until about 2 years ago. So, I'm going to share what it is, how you can easily support it, and some signs and symptoms that you may be experiencing that are signals that your vagus nerve needs support.
This episode is fully packed with information, but I'm excited to equip you with more knowledge on how you support your body's ability to heal and remove inflammation!
