Hi friend!
Don't worry, you don't need to put the headphones on the little ones in the car because we're really talking about "FEAR" today!
Oh, good ole fear! The thing that keeps us stuck right where we are, even when we dream about being somewhere else in regards to our hopes, dreams and goals.
Fear definitely has a place in this world, as it keeps us safe in certain situations. However, the fear that our ancestors felt when they were being chased by saber tooth tigers should not be the same fear that we feel when we're looking to take one action step towards our goals...but we act like it is! LOL!! And, then we find ourselves weeks, months or years later nowhere closer to our dreams than we were when we had that feeling to take action.
My friend, today I dive into three action steps that you can take even when you're scared! These actions steps have helped me get closer to my dreams and I know that they can help you, too! I have helped my clients get closer to, and even achieve, some of their biggest hopes, dreams and goals, and I'd love for you to reach yours!
So, enjoy today's episode, and send me a DM or screenshot your phone and tag me on IG and let me know your biggest takeaway!

Hi friend! Do you find yourself jumping on social media and looking at what everyone else is doing and then you start comparing your life to their life?! Yep, we all do it! But it's bad for our mental health! Research is showing that social media is playing a big part in the increase in anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and suicides.
In this episode, I talk about how I have tried to quiet the noise of looking at everyone else's life, and putting effort into focusing on my hopes, dream and goals. It's not easy, but like I say in this episode, no one is going to care more about your hopes, dreams and goals than YOU! So, it's time to start putting some of attention that you put into looking at everyone else's life onto your beautiful life!!!
You are worth it my friend!!!
Keep on thriving!!!
XOXO,
Katie
Are your dreams collecting dust? If you're anything like me, I really don't enjoy dusting. I'd much rather scrub the toilet and shower than dust. LOL!!
But, are we allowing our dreams to sit on the shelf and collect dust?
We only have this one beautiful life to live and it was meant to be LIVED!
In today's episode, I give you ONE action step that you can take today to start getting closer to all of your hopes, dreams and goals!!
Be well,
Katie
Hi friend! As I record this episode, I am currently on day 3 of a strike at the hospital where I am a full time pediatric nurse. It's been a very stressful, sad, overwhelming, and anxious time; however, having built a self-care routine that I am consistently utilizing in my life over the past 10 years has been such a game changer during this time. When we are at low points in our life, we really don't have the energy or the bandwidth to practice great self-care. In this episode, I talk about when I believe is the best time to start building a self-care practice.
XOXO,
Katie
Do you remember ever having a class in school on BOUNDARIES? Me neither! It's only been over the last couple of years that I have realized that by NOT having boundaries, I am putting my mental, emotional and physical well-being at risk. It's not comfortable saying, "NO" to others, but I have also learned that saying "NO" to others is truly saying "YES" to myself and my precious time and energy. I still work on this every day and I invite you in if you have ever had a hard time saying "NO". I teach you the POWER OF THE PAUSE in this episode and I'd love your feedback!
XOXO,
Katie
Hi friend!!! It's been way too long and you've been on my mind and in my heart over these last 2 years since I took a hiatus from recording my podcast. It's now July 2023 and I am back!!! In this episode, I'm just doing a quick update to where I am now after closing my show in June of 2021 after 50 episodes! I cannot wait to get rolling again and I'm so glad that you are here! Let's do this!
XOXO,
Katie
We’ve hit 50 episodes, my friends! Every week for 50 weeks I have absolutely loved coming on the air and talking to you, and interviewing amazing people! Thank you for being here and for celebrating with me!!
I’ve decided to end Season 1 of my podcast with this 50th episode, and I get into why I’ve made this decision in this episode. I wanted to say that if you have the dream in you to start a podcast, go for it!!! You will definitely not regret it!
I want to thank all of my amazing guests, my fiance Peter for helping me with technical issues and for always supporting me in my mission to create and release an episode every week for the last 50 weeks, my family and friends who supported me, my podcast editor Tony for all of his hard and amazing work making sure the episodes went out to the world, and for the technology that allowed me to create and air my podcasts. It’s been a JOYFUL experience!
Until we meet again, I hope you THRIVE!!!!
With so much love,
Katie
In today’s episode, I wanted to gift my listeners one of my most favorite guided meditations that I have created, where you get to meet your future self and have a conversation with her. I have found guided meditations help me decrease stress, look at things from a different perspective, and help me continue to take steps towards my hopes, dreams and goals!
I hope that you find yourself feeling the same after listening to today’s episode. Thank you!!
XOXO,
Katie
In today’s episode, I had such a great time speaking with Victoria Shaw. Not only is Victoria just a really cool woman to connect with and have conversations with, but she is also so passionate and knowledgeable about all things intuition. Victoria Shaw is an intuitive counselor and coach, and is also the host of the “Intuitive Connection Podcast”. I met Victoria through a mutual Facebook group that we are both a part of, and I knew that I definitely wanted to learn more about intuition and meet this amazing woman!
In today’s episode, Victoria helps us explore the question of “What is intuition?”, and we dive into the age-old saying of a “gut reaction”. We talk about Victoria’s past and how everything she has done has brought her to where she is today in her life. I love how we talk about the “whispers of your soul”, and how we can learn how to listen to those whispers. We talk about one of my favorite topics...JOY! Victoria talks about how we haven’t been taught as a society and a culture to follow joy, and how we can teach ourselves how to trust ourselves, become grounded in who we are, and cultivate a happy spirit within us.
So, grab your cozy beverage and gift yourself the time to enjoy the magic of Victoria Shaw!

In this week’s episode, I had the great pleasure of speaking with the incredibly talented Holly Chayes! Holly and I met through a facebook group and when I heard what Holly does for her business, I was so intrigued and I was thinking, “I have got to meet this woman and have her on my show!” We hit it off immediately on our meet-n-greet zoom meeting, and I thought, “This woman could help me tremendously with my wardrobe and my closet!”
Holly Chayes is “style coach and consultant helping you build and keep the wardrobe you want”. Anyone else struggle with what to wear sometimes? Staring into your closet for the “perfect outfit”? Yep, I believe that we’ve all been there!
In today’s episode we dive into your closet and Holly gives you little prompts to help you pick out that outfit, like asking yourself, “How do I want to see me?”. Taking 3 minutes to see what you’re wearing and gifting yourself the answer of how you really want to see yourself that day. Holly talks about how we can honor ourselves with our wardrobes after this year that we’ve all been through with the Covid-19 pandemic (hint: pre-Covid there was not too much loungewear being worn; during Covid, lots and lots of loungewear being bought and worn).
We also take it one layer deeper as we discuss the negative self-talk that so many of us live with, and how our wardrobe can be a positive way that we look at ourselves, and therefore, talk to ourselves. We also laugh about the “dreaded dressing rooms” that we’ve all been in while trying on clothes, and how the lighting and the mirrors usually don’t make for such great impressions! We talk about having compassion for ourselves with our clothing, and with our bodies. Other topics we touch on are decluttering, “getting rid of” or giving away clothes, photoshoots, and so much more!!
There is so much greatness in this episode, so please grab your favorite beverage, and gift yourself the time to listen to the magic of Holly Chayes!! I will link her bio and all the ways that you can get in touch with Holly below. Thank you!
XOXO,
Katie
