We need a better understanding of the anxiety we experience: this is intertwined with understanding our pain & the relationship we have with it. With an understanding of the pain, we then open a window of us getting to the root of the anxiety (& resistance). In this episode we explore the concept of attachment to pain and I do use the phrase 'like your pain' to refer to attachment. However, I do not mean like in a sense of having some sort of affection for the pain (or deriving pleasure from it) , I mean it in the context of attachment. In that there's an unconscious identification with the pain and an unconscious holding on to it. Other episodes on anxiety:
