In hour Tua, we check around the NFL to see who has been released on cut day where NFL teams have to cut their roster down to 53. We also talk about a topic that was discussed on the Hoch & Crowder & Solanna show about the importance of a Kicker missing time compared to other position players on the team. Jason sanders the Dolphins kicker will be out 4-5 weeks with a hip injury. While it is a blow to the team some feel it is easier to find a FG kicker than it is other positions on the team.

In hour 1 of the Tobin & Leroy show, we talk about what today is in the NFL Cut's a cut day and Leroy tells us what is going down all across the NFL and how players veterans and young deal with this day. We talk about the Fins cuts as they let some players go such as Quinton Bell & Derrick McClendon and players that have signed like FA CB Rasual Douglas back. The guys dive into Miami’s performance against the Jaguars, react to roster cuts, and hear from head coach Mike McDaniel on what goes into trimming the team. Tobin remains furious over Paul Finebaum’s disrespect toward the Miami Hurricanes, officially labeling him his most hated analyst.

Hour Tua takes a boozy twist as the crew is joined by Jack Daniels reps Byron Copeland and Erika for cocktails and a crash course in the distilling process—though things heat up when Byron reveals he’s a Falcons fan, ruffling Leroy’s feathers. Leroy hands out his Monday Gameballs and Gamebums, showing love to Tommy Fleetwood after his FedEx Cup win and handing out “bum status” to one of his go-to restaurants.

As roster cuts roll in, the Tua–Tyreek “beef” rumor sparks a fiery debate between Tobin and Leroy. Tobin also drops a bombshell on the team: EuroBasket starts Wednesday… and all the games he’s been hyping were just friendlies! Chaos ensues.

The madness continues in Hour 4, as the guys debate Dolphins O-lineman Liam Eichenberg—Tobin wants him gone, while Leroy pleads for appreciation. They also tackle the Cleveland Browns’ overloaded QB room and wonder why Dolphins owner Stephen Ross didn’t make his usual preseason game appearance. The day wraps with a wild round of “Alright! Oh No!” where Tobin gets grilled for his EuroBasket deception, lashes out at Brittney over an F1 vs EuroBasket comparison, and things spiral from there.
