Today I thought about using digital distraction as a beneficial tool. Many of us get distracted from a task or what is in front of us by notifications on digital devices. How can we use these distractions as a tool? Focused breathing is a magnificent way to improve self-control and I decided to use digital notifications as a prompt to take three deep breaths. We have way more influence over ourselves than we have been taught to believe.Β
