This academic-practice partnership podcast highlights what it takes to work in a true partnership to realize a Culture of Caring. The Culture of Caring model incorporates 5 dimensions that include patient-centeredness, safe and reliable care, professional development, leaderful alliance, and community and vitality. Collaborative spirit, transparency and collegiality are central to the model’s success. The model provides a framework for enhanced teaching-learning to occur at all levels including the student, bedside nurse, faculty member, and leaders involved in this work.
