Jesus Christ is the most humble man to ever walk the earth.
Most people would acknowledge Jesus' humility based on His treatment of the lowest of the low in society. But there are others who have demonstrated similar humility by treating the world's outcasts with love and dignity.
However Jesus humbled Himself in a way no one else ever has: Although He existed in the very form of God, He took on human flesh and lived on this earth as a mere man.

Did you know that God, as presented in the Bible, is humble?
This may come as a surprise to you, especially if you have engaged with skeptics who often portray God as proud, arrogant, and egotistical because "He demands that we worship Him."
Actually, it's just the opposite.

AToday's "devotional" will be different than usual. This will be a call to discernment and to prayer. We've seen protests and riots breaking out in major cities against President Trump's deportation of illegal immigrants. This Saturday, on Trump's birthday, there are protests scheduled in nearly 2,000 cities throughout the country. On top of these domestic issues, tonight Israel launched devastating strikes on Iran seeking to decimate its nuclear program.

The last thing any Christian would want to be known for is being a hater. After all, Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God and love our neighbor (Matthew 22:25-40). We should be known for our love.
But is there room for hate in our lives?  There was with Jesus!
