This week we are privileged to have another Aussie doing amazing things in the United States on the podcast. A true Ausmerican Ace!

Ben Hunt played basketball at Stephen F Austin State University (NCAA Div. 1) & Texas Wesleyan University (NAIA Div. 1) where he won the National Championship with a famous buzzer beater!

After hitting the buzzer beater Ben was invited to the Dallas Mavericks NBA summer league try outs. Following the summer with the Mavs, he made his way to the Perth Wildcats where he fulfilled a life long dream of playing in the NBL.

Fast forward a few years from playing, Ben has a great story about transitioning from the game he loved as a player to becoming the Director of the Dallas Mavericks Academy.

Ben is in his 8th season with the Dallas Mavericks and oversees all grass roots youth programs which includes camps, clinics and community initiatives.
