At 27, Sean Bell set a world record for the fastest circumnavigation of Australia on foot, running 13,383 km in 158 days - breaking the previous record by 11 days and averaging 84 km (two marathons) a day.
A former Vermont Eagles footballer, Sean found his passion for endurance after running his first marathon in 2017. His journey, shaped by loss, became a mission to help others and transform lives, raising $277,000 for Make-A-Wish Australia through two major runs: a Cairns-to-Melbourne rehearsal run (2022) and his record-breaking run around Australia (2024).
Now an endurance athlete, keynote speaker, and online run coach, Sean shares powerful lessons on resilience, mindset, and chasing big goals.
Sean has fundraised $177,000 for Make-A-Wish Australia so far with his run around Australia, on top of the $100,000 raised for Make-A-Wish in his 2022 rehearsal run from Cairns to Melbourne. $277,000 has been raised so far to bring hope and happiness to sick children and their families.
