With the conclusion of Spring Practice for Arizona State Sun Devils football, the state of the team seems to be a bit shaky. There are a lot of unknowns currently, but we still have faith that this ASU football team can find resolve and fight in 2022. If the Sun Devils want to do this, they will need to dig deep and rely on their stars. The return of veterans like Jermayne Lole, Merlin Robertson, Ricky Pearsall, and Kyle Soelle is a huge start for the defense, while youngsters like Eric Gentry, Jordan Clark, and Eddie Czaplicki hope to continue building off strong years. Meanwhile, eyes are on Daniyel Ngata to take a step forward in a larger role. Incoming transfers Xazavien Valladay and Khoury Bethley will be looked upon to take over big roles for ASU, as well.
