Anxiety can result when we compromise our inherent values system or fail to set effective boundaries. Awareness of our values and self-care through self-management that can both set and honor our values and boundaries helps our mindset, our mood, emotions, and offers healthy action steps to be aligned with integrity through our parts of self.
As we continue our meditation series on the character traits depicted by the names of God as to WHO God is, we can continue to grow in our understanding of His majesty and love for us. If you want to overcome anxiety, have hope for depression, feel grounded emotionally, and have a solid launch pad for life, Scripture meditation and who God is is a great place to focus.
Our mindset can tell us the truth or lies about our identity, and as believers, our identity is found in Christ. So, if you are believing lies or negative things about yourself, identifying them and replacing them with truth is necessary to take every thought captive and think on what is good, pure, lovely, and true. Break free from the cognitive thought distortions, and exchange them for the truth about you, that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God who doesn't make mistakes.
Our mindsets are either fixed or flexible and growth-oriented, and a lot of our painful experiences can be lightened when we check our assumptions and mental distortions against what is true, possible, and Godly. Learn effective questions to challenge your mindset to see if it is giving you all of the information you need to have an accurate perception of reality. Listen in.
