Marilyn Ball is the founder of 12Twelve Collaborative Solutions with 25+ years of marketing and communication experience in the tourism, economic development, hospitality and micro-enterprise industries.  She is also the host of SPEAKING OF TRAVEL, an iHeart Radio show and global podcast. She is passionate about travel. She is passionate about community. She is passionate about collaboration.  

Our conversation was about Speaking of Travel and how she got started.  She spoke about how important a sense of community is to her and how travel breaks down barriers of stereotypes and builds friendships.  We also learned about 2 other podcasts Marilyn is working on.  One is a podcast with her granddaughter REAL KIDS, REAL STORIES, and the other is a platform for vets who are using writing as a tool for healing.  It is called BROTHERS AND SISTERS LIKE THESE.
