Back for a big week! Question of the day goes a bit off course, talking horizontal bum cracks, favourite comedians and Liam being the bringer of death. Mark from Reedy Creek calls through with an outrageous addition to Spida’s BBQ. He is a carnivore and reckons he eats 1000 eggs a week! He has found a perfectly spherical egg and he is willing to let Spida crack it on the barbie. Google says that’s a 1-in-a-Billion find! Gorden Tallis ghosted a Broncos handshake over the weekend but the team is not convinced with the “news-worthiness” & suggests there might be some bigger stories for everyone to hear. Bernard Tomic has had a baby and a disgruntled employee allegedly burnt down a toilet paper factory in the US. “Ken” is the official name of Spida’s BBQ, thanks to Damo in Oxenford + Coachella is dominating social media and Liam has a “Coachella or Not” quiz!

The team are put to the test on who said what, during the week. It doesn't go well! Leisel has had a song come back into her life that transported her back to a different time! Missy Elliot will do that to you! Liam wants to confess and be absolved of a parking crime and the rest of the team have their own confessions to get off their chest! Finally, Bridge is BACK in the Triple M Gold studio. A big throwback for all those that listened to Bridge on the breakfast show for YEARS until she left to go live off grid in 2021. After Rory McIlroy's Masters Champions' Dinner reveal, the team breakdown what would make their menu. Spida is bruschetta, tomahawks and cheesecake with VB on the side. Liam goes duck pancakes, fish burger and chips with Dr Pepper. Leisel is dumplings, cacio e pepe and banoffee pie with margaritas. George goes ceviche and oysters, pork belly jungle curry and boa buns, tiramisu and sticky date with extra dirty martinis.

Spida has major neighbour beef with the people who have just moved in next door. Loud kids are making the old man grumpy. Jane in Mermaid Waters is looking for somewhere to move to since her neighbours moved in. Loud mouths with terrible language. Mark's neighbours are the worst DJ's ever, because they never listen to a full song. Nothing beats Kerry, whose neighbours told the cops she had a meth lab in the basement.

Jeff from Arundel had a BBQ blunder back in the day that scared him off cooking with gas. Can he be convinced to be the ceremonial BBQ starter? Turns out Jeff also has doubts about air travel.

Mac cheated the system last year and won by a mile, so the handicaps have been adjusted. Liam thinks Rebel Sport for some reason & George thinks it’s obviously JB HiFi, but the others take issue with that. There is a revelation that Spida has a brand-new barbecue that he has had for almost two years without cooking anything on it. Something must be done to christen the virgin BBQ! George just learned that you aren’t supposed to rinse your mouth out after brushing your teeth. Also, that you should freeze your jeans? Leisel has a hack for resealing a champagne bottle and Spida thinks he has a great take about wine… only for it to fall very flat! Liam just found out that his god-daughter’s god mother has been buying her a small diamond every year since she was born, so that when she turns 18, she can make a beautiful piece of jewellery. Liam is furious. He just bought her the first present he has ever given her, and it was a pool toy… Leisel wants to know what the etiquette is with chatting to tradies. Do they want to be left in peace or want a chat and a coffee. Grandpa Spida has a new bedtime with Sheree on a new fitness regime + Liam tees off on Crisafulli and the state government after learning that the train line is closed. In the middle of a fuel crisis?!

George has finally acknowledged his fear: Cockroaches. Liam’s is sharks, Leisel is confined spaces & Spida is just a big, scared softy. Leisel had a win this weekend with the “puppiest” walk of all. Spida reckons Burleigh dogs are different from Sanctuary Cove dogs. We hear from the Gold Coast and judge them based on their dogs but Ray leaves nothing up in the air. Rich dogs. At a wedding on the weekend, Liam had a realisation that he is intimidated by farmers. Leisel feels the same about highschoolers and Spida is scared of psychologists. On his way back from Melbourne, Spida was tuned in to regional radio. He learned some valuable lessons, including about the Big Ram. Finally, freshly crowned Australian Iron Man Champion, Ethan Callaghan, joins the show to talk about his big victory + celebration plans.

Leisel saw one of the weirdest ever drive thru’s yesterday – a drive thru adult shop. She even made eye contact with someone as they drove through picking up their goods... Spida votes for a new drive thru fish and chips is an untapped market and parents would live a drive thru baby-changing station. The Lady Tradies are out in Worongary helping Phil get wheelchair ramps installed. His mum is unwell and the Lady Tradies are doing their part to try and make things just a little bit easier during a tough time. Spida has a big weekend on the road that was locked in before the fuel crisis. He and Sheree are driving TWO motorhomes from Melbourne back to QLD. Very heavy pockets! Not as bad as Lisa, who calls in because she has a drive to Broome already locked in! We chat to Dane, the Titans fan running 1km for every point that his team lose by. As a non-runner, you can imagine Dane’s pain when the Titans lost by 40 in Round1. The shin splints are real!
