The team kick off with some rapid fire Would You Rather! They then talk to listeners who have tattoos on their backside after the Mayor’s comments yesterday - the caller with a rabbit tattoo is shocking… Australian Crawl’s James Reyne joins the show to talk about the brand reuniting for this year’s Red Hot Summer Tour in Coolangatta - an amazing band, full of hits and great stories in their short but sweet time together. It’s Podium Day & to celebrate the World Cup it is the Podium of the Hottest Accents. Leisel is all over the shop with the most rogue decisions and Spida struggled hard to come up with his. We are getting close to Raise for a Ride with the team scaling HOTA Gallery. They chat to the blokes responsible for their safety on the day – the abseiling team – and they are not very reassuring!

The Japanese football fans were captured picking up all the rubbish as they left the stadium at the World Cup. The team talk about other courteous behaviours that would make the world a better place. Sad news yesterday about the Mudgeeraba Show - cancelled for 2026 due to weather. Spida has mixed emotions, reflecting on the time his chocolate cake got judged poorly at the show! The criticism is classic. Leisel Likes is back with a big shoutout to her amazing and helpful neighbour, Jesse. Tom Tate Tuesday as always, the show joined by the Mayor to discuss the new Council budget & the tattoo he planned to get on his bum? Two blue lovebirds as a secret with his wife, Ruth! Unbelievable stuff from the Gold Coast’s fearless leader. Finally, on the eve of Origin 2, reports have surfaced that Laurie Daley’s pregame speeches are putting people to sleep. Spida and Leisel are no stranger to inspirational speakers, having had their share of big pump ups & total flops.

Socceroos fever has swept the nation and the team decide – if they could pick any team to win a championship, who would they choose? Hard to go past how insane a Socceroos World Cup would be. Leisel is feeling proud of her reno efforts after having flooring installed, but now she’s not sure if she should push on and do the next job DIY or call in the pro’s. She needs to tile the splashback in her kitchen! Tim the Tiler calls in to support Leisel. He can help her out and get her on the right track! Spida has a confession to make about his behaviour on the weekend. He and Sheree were travelling back from Melbourne and knew they had potato and leek soup in the fridge ready for dinner. They were going to be arriving late and didn’t want to stop to get bread for the soup, so Spida took 6 dinner rolls from the Virgin lounge! It might be the most “old man” crime that has ever happened! Finally, after a big draught and the chase going cold, Liam and Spida think they have finally solved Leisel’s dating woes, by signing her up for the Gold Coast Marathon?! Spida thinks it’s the ultimate place to find love. If you see someone running with a QR code on her back, that’s an Olympic champion looking for romance!

Liam asks the crew what time period of their life they would choose to “Groundhog Day.” Leisel is not sold on her new EV and is feeling a smidge of buyer’s regret… The team chat about all their odd show behaviours, which direction they face and how they clean themselves. Spida showers in the dark and hates being disturbed. Liam became addicted to a new AFL-based game where you have to build a team to have a perfect 23-0 season. He became obsessed with building a team that included Spida and FINALLY achieved it yesterday! Finally, the Gold Coast call in to help Spida with an earworm.

Leisel has a game of Idioms. Try to guess where the saying came from! Liam has some fresh Gold Coast Gossip. Whispers are that the newest sports franchise on the GC will be a netball team! Leisel is fed up with being asked to review everything. The list of review requests is insane. The FIFA World Cup kicks off TODAY so Liam tests Leisel and Spida’s football knowledge with a game of “fill in the blank.” Fair to say, their knowledge leaves a bit to be desired. Finally, Spida’s Spray gets political. Australia is starting to feel the heat from Pauline Hanson and he thinks it is time that that everyone prepares for the impossible to be realised – is Pauline truly a chance?

The team discuss what niche hobby or activity they could go to the World Championships for - Parallel parking, card throwing, Backgammon and catching oysters in the mouth? Leisel had a shocking moment at the hairdresser yesterday, when the hairdresser shaved the back of her neck and then kept going down, shaving her back! She never knew she had a hairy back - someone call the authorities, bigfoot has been found! The team run through their Worst Movies Podium. Avatar, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood & Star Trek all top the lists! With a special surprise sporting guest, Liam brings in his brother to talk all things Australian Open Lawn Bowls. Spida is fascinated, until he starts talking about his upcoming travel. His granddaughter has some demands, which mean airport humiliation for the big fella. How does he walk through the airport with a metre tall stuffed unicorn?!

The team play a game of “Herd Mentality” where they have to try and say the same word from a prompt. Turns out, they are no good at thinking like a herd. We all have traumatic memories from grandparents’ house. Broken glasses, smells, foods and more. We hear from the Gold Coast about their grandparent trauma, including being forced to watch scary VHS tapes & shovelling show-cat poo. Spida and Leisel face off in a “hot and cold” debate about curb side parking. Spida is HOT and thinks it should be banned, but Leisel can’t understand how that could work. Leisel also has a problem with Robina at the moment. There is a distinct stench as she drives down Robina Parkway every morning. Turns on she is not imagining it & listeners call in to give their theories and try get to the bottom of the stink.

Producer George took advantage of the Triple M Gold name on Saturday to go VIP to the Tweed Seagulls home game! He has a case to answer… Aussie Emergency Glass bought the show at the Give Me 5 charity auction, so the team take calls about broken glass stories! We’ve all been there. Liam and Leisel had howlers on the weekend that left them both very red-faced. Spida is called in as judge, to decide who embarrassed themselves worse. What’s worse - losing your glasses twice, or eating at a catholic school event before the Principal has had a chance to say grace…George made the most of the footy and didn’t extend the invite to the rest of the team. He even took a bunch of mates with him! What a joke.

Producer George chooses his 1, 2, 3’s of the week and Spida has had a shocker! The stink bucket flop + his embarrassment at one of GC’s night of nights. Liam has a suggestion for a bachelor-style video to kick off the Logies this year, in the wake of Sam Pang stepping away from his role as host. It’s flu season and everyone is sick, so Spida blesses the Gold Coast with his sure-fire remedies (that we do not recommend and almost certainly will not make you feel better). Finally, hear the full recap of the Gold Coast Australian of the Year Awards. Spida basically heckled the winner of the award mid-speech + another great story emerged after Jesse Noonan from Rock ‘n’ Slide Skateboarding accepted his award!

George is looking for names for his sourdough starter. The team’s suggestions are sub-par! Cooly Rocks On is underway, the epic nostalgia festival that takes over the southern Gold Coast. Spida reflects on the history of the festival and how his Cooly Rocks experiences have changed over the years. From hooner, to family man, to old man! Spida Sprays Gold Coast billboard outrage & it leads to conversation about “Birds & the Bees” chats. The Gold Coast call in to tell the team how they were taught and how they have gone about it with their kids! Liam recently met someone with a booger in their nose, and he was not comfortable to tell them. Fair enough or dog act?! Finally, Give Me 5 is BACK. Triple M Gold in partnership with the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation are back to raise funds for patient’s transport costs for oncology. It’s a vital service and worthy cause for bringing back Give Me 5.
