This week I wanted to talk about a case I am sure everyone is familiar with by now and that is the escape of Philadelphia inmate and native Brazilian, Danelo Cavalcante. From his rough childhood in Brazil to his first murder of his friend, his escape out of his native country, hoe he got into the United States, the 2nd murder of his girlfriend Deborah and his Houdini like escape from the Chester County Prison. I also talk about what happens to Danelo from here. I am also going to touch a bit on our deportation laws and why he was not sent back to his native country of Brazil

Alicia Navarro reappeared at a local police department in Havre, Montana after being missing almost 4 years. Alicia ran away from her Glendale, AZ home in September 2019 just days short of her 15th birthday and walked into a police station in Montana on July 23, 2023 to remove herself from the missing children/persons list since she was now an adult and wanted to be able to have a normal life.

It very soon came out that Alicia was living with 36y Eddy Davis. But, the nature of their relationship was never confirmed nor was the way in which they ended up together. It has not been confirmed if Eddy was the person responsible for luring Alicia out of her home when she was 14y.

Since her reappearance, search warrants have been issued and evidence has been analyzed. Which was not good for Mr. Davis. This episode focuses on the 2 updates that just came out within the last week.

This weeks Mystery Monday Ep. 12 covers the disappearance of Corinna Slusser.

Corinna was just barely 18 and struggling to find her place in life. She was living in a small town of 13,000 people and really wanted to break out of the monotony of small time living. She had her eye on New York City and was determined to "make it". Corinna really wanted to elevate her lifestyle and was big into social media. She would post everything about her life on there, including the not so good parts.

Which made her situation prime for a person with bad intentions to come in and promise Corinna all these things she spoke about wanting/needing on her socials.

Before she realizes it she is deeply imbedded in New York's dark world of sex work and finds herself under the watchful eye of her pimp. After a brutal assault, Corinna tells her mother that she wants to come home. But, Corinna never gets the chance because she goes missing within hours of telling her mother she was done with NYC.

In Part 1 of this story will cover Corinna's life in Bloomsburg, PA, how she gets to New York and what happens that led her down the dark road of control and sex sponsorship.

On Boxing Day, December 26th, 1900 a Boat called The Hesperus approached Eilean Mor Island to bring a relief worker for duty rotation at the Flannan Lighthouse. Due to bad weather they were about a week overdue. No response was made to several horns and flares to alert the 3 man crew that they were approaching. As they made it to the island immediately the crew of the Hesperus noticed that things were off.

The relief worker went up the 160 steps to the lighthouse and as he got there he immediately noticed there was a number of things wrong... including that all 3 men were missing. A full search of the island yielded zero clues as to what happen to the men. Or did it? On one side, the West Landing side, it was clear that something catastrophic had occurred.

Many rumors of paranormal or dark activity and curses plagued the island. The lore of the missing men just added to the already mysterious and scary attraction to the island and its history.

In Episode 3 of History's Mysteries, I will take you through the full investigation and official reports for the Northern Lighthouse Board and the first accounts of the first responders to the island. Also, what are the theories of the men's fate? There are 4 somewhat accepted theories and I will cover all of those in detail and the likelihood (or unlikelihood) that caused the disappearance of the men.

The rumors surrounding the Flannan Lighthouse and the 3 missing men doesn't seem to be losing any traction as time goes on. It has been 123 years and it still talked about as much if not more than it was in 1900.

Welcome to Episode 2 of the Solved Saturday Series! This case covers the death of Ta'Neasha Chappell. She died while in custody in Indiana's Jackson County Jail. Ta'Neasha was sick and begged for help for 16 hours before the jail decided to help her and call an ambulance. She died within 2 hours at the hospital. It is awful the negligence and lack of humanity in this case. The ER and Forensic Pathologist both said she was poisoned. As did several inmates who spoke out after Ta'neasha's death. The Jackson County Jail and County Prosecutor both determined no foul play and no wrong doing happened and no charges would be filed. Her family strongly disagrees with that and so do I! Please join me for this episode as we talk about Ta'Neasha Chappell and her unfair death that Jackson County is trying to sweep under the rug. 3 deaths in 13 months have happened at this jail. 1 suicide and 2 extremely negligent and horrible deaths. Today is Ta'Neasha's case but I will also be covering the others. What constitutes a break in a relationship? What are the rules? What does it really mean to be on a "break"? For Ross and Rachel (Friends season 3 episode 15) being on a break meant two very different things. For Colin Strickland and Kaitlin Armstrong, it was a similar situation. While on a break from their 3 year on/off again, somewhat rocky relationship, Colin meets fellow Professional Gravel Bike Racer Moriah Wilson. They hit it off pretty quickly and begin to casually see each other. Which ignites a very jealous rage in Kaitlin, who has words with Moriah.

Eventually, as with most on/off relationships, Colin and Kaitlin end up back on. But, Colin doesn't end things with Moriah, hiding the reconciliation with Kaitlin. Colin sneaks around with Moriah but January 2022 things come to a head when all 3 ppl are at the same event. Moriah is confused and Kaitlin is livid.

Kaitlin obsessively tries to control Colin while he lies to Kaitlin about his continued, though according to him strictly platonic, involvement with Moriah.

These situations never end well and May 11th, 2022 an already extremely volatile situation ends up completely exploding after a "platonic" afternoon outing between Colin and Moriah.

Episode 9 of Mystery Monday is a case out of Florida about a 14y boy, Jabez Spann, who disappeared in his own neighborhood 1 week after witnessing an attempted robbery that ended in a murder. 18 months later his remains were found in a field about 30 miles away from his house.

There are some very bizarre twists and turns in this case involving a neighbor, a pastor, the Mayor of the city and a link between 2 unsolved cases. The police very strongly believe if you solve one case, you'll have solved the other.
