True Crime Guys

A few years ago in 2018, we started getting reports down here in America about a possible serial killer in Toronto, and others about body parts being found in planters.  The gruesome details began emerging and we caught the scent of a new serial killer emerging onto the scene.

January of 2018,  Toronto police finally apprehended the man who had been terrorizing the local gay community for the past 8 years. That man's name is Bruce McArthur. A 69 year old, divorced, landscaper who also worked as a mall santa during the holidays….so, basically Canadian Gacy. *shrug*

We last left Snorky in 1925, when during his time behind bars, his longtime boss and mentor, Johnny Torrio, handed over control of the Chicago outfit to his younger and more ruthless successor. So from here, let’s get into how this newly crowned king of Chicago crime rules his kingdom.

Al capone part one and two this week

Murder of a homeless woman in Oakland and the dissaperance of her daughter. Where the lead suspect, a self proclaimed street preacher, may hold the answers to finding the missing child.

And over on Full House Fantasy football, Lorne and the guys let nature decide on who got the first picked in their latest mock draft. It was all up to the mice this time, so tune in over there to see whos furry racer picked up the W.

JTB

Open mic night,  some wild survival stories, cities that surprised us, keanu reeves, and even the ninja turtles. Really covering all topics on this one.

Al Capone BABY!

Without a doubt, the most famous gangster in American... if not world history.. Capone ruled over an empire of organized crime in Chicago during prohibition. The tough and scrappy kid from Brooklyn, who was ready to throw hands at the drop of a hat. Ended up reigning supreme, over one of the most dangerous, and bloodiest times of Chicago’s history. There’s a reason there’s been multiple films and tv shows about this almost larger than life character. From him making a name for himself on the streets of Brooklyn, through when he was running the streets of Chicago, up until he was shitting the sheets of his Florida estate, we're gonna cover it all.  In this part one, we cover the early life and upbringing of the OG of OG’s. Al Capone.

TCG Proper:

So for tcg proper this week, Since Lorne and Michael did such a good job on their Gangster accents over on SandU Stories, we decided it was time to do another mob case. But not just any mobster guys, hes kind of a big deal.

SandU proper is taking a trip down the Nile this week. As Michael tries to give some insight into the mysterious pyramids of Egypt.  We know there hasn't been any bodies found in one so far, so what really was their purpose , and what can we still learn  from them today.

And over on the west coast, Lorne and the guys sit down to hash out some more Dynasty picks and how they think their season might turn out. Also what's been going on with the league, like suspensions, trades and pickups. So tune in for that and let them know how you think they’re gonna do

Now for all our patreon listeners, Lorne returns to the screen with the 5 Minute Murder show. This time covering another mystery cold case that finally was cracked over 40 years later. Two men found shot on their own properties, taken out from a distance. Sounds like a profession huh?.. Doubt it

Colorado's death penalty was abolished in 2020. Even before it was abolished, the state followed through on death sentences very rarely, with the most recent execution taking place in 1997. That final execution was for a particularly gruesome crime. That gruesome crime is, of course, our case this week.

TCG PROPER

Guys for this week on TCG Proper, we are taking a swing at a case that has been a long time coming. Heading behind the Iron Curtain and trying to unpack the true Red menace of the soviet union, Andre Chikatilo. Brace yourself for this one creeps, this one gets damn near medieval at times.

Now over to sandu this week, I’ll be giving  our listeners a look at the dark truth behind california's famous gold rush, and the atrocities that were committed to the native Californians who already inhabited the fruitful lands before the prospectors arrived. Here in the states, we’ve always heard the phrase “there's gold in them there hills”,  but where there was gold, there was also a thriving community of Native people who were quietly wiped out in America’s pursuit of wealth.

And over on our patreon, Andy and I sit down again to give you guys another strange look at what's been going on around the world with Strange Shorts. Where we have a few questionable artistic liberties, some teenage mutant demon hamsters, and we learn the importance of reading the fine print on our auto insurance policies, and thats just scraping the surface.

Full House Fantasy

For all the Fantasy football fans, Lorne, tori, and josh sat down together this week to bring you guys the first of several mock drafts they will be doing in preparation for the start of the season. Check it out over on youtube as well and let them all know how you think they did for their first round of picks.

Then over on JTB, Lorne and I opened the floor up to our listeners again and answered all your pressing questions to the best of our abilities. Including things like what animal we’d like to bring back from extinction, interesting people in our lives, and even imaginary friends.  So check that out over on patreon as well, along with the video!.

And staying  over on patreon for one last update, Lorne is taking a look at a very recent example, of a cold case finally cracked after over 30 years. This time, it was the wife of the killer, who would finally break her silence and put her husband behind bars.

Timothy Joseph McGhee is a convicted serial killer and Toonerville Rifa 13 gang member of Scottish and Mexican descent from the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. He is alleged to have been responsible for at least 12 homicides between 1997 and 2001...that we know of...

TCG PROPER-PREV. WEEK AND UPCOMING

Now for this week on TCG proper, Lorne and I will be talking about one of the most dangerous men California has ever produced. A serial killer and gang member, who caused enough death and destruction, to be listed alongside the night stalker, and Manson himself.

Now over to sandu this week, I’ll be giving our listeners a look at a grizzly murder that shocked a small town in Canada back in 1974. One that eventually became the towns first, and now oldest unsolved murder case. A confusing tale that comes with false confessions, numerous suspects, and even one that was charged, but eventually acquitted.

And for everything else, ya’ll will have to follow me over to patreon where…

Andy and I will be sitting down for your weekly dose of strange shorts. We’ve got the return of Alabama woman, killer gators in Florida, and even a deadly case of mistaken identity.

Then over on JTB, we are moving things to a different day for recording and will now be posting the questions on Saturdays instead of Thursday’s, but episodes will still be released on fridays. So this week will be an open mic night once again so who knows what shenanigans our patrons will get us into.

And on the  five min murder show, Lorne takes us through a dark tale of a convicted rapist, who was hired to work at a facility for the mentally disabled and began to fall back into his old ways a little too easily. It’s a 30 year old cold case that was finally able to have some light shed on it by you guessed it, DNA.

And last but not least. Our west coast gang got together to give a breakdown of the AFC west on this weeks episode of full house fantasy football. I know that’s Andy’s Raiders division so I’m sure he’ll be listening in on whatever advice/ shit talk Lornes got to offer on what to expect this season.
